Maoyi XieandGreg Kroah-Hartman 92b766fc55 net: ip_gre: require CAP_NET_ADMIN in the device netns for changelink

A tunnel changelink() operates on at most two netns, dev_net(dev) and
the tunnel link netns t->net. They differ once the device is created in
or moved to a netns other than the one the request runs in. The rtnl
changelink path checks CAP_NET_ADMIN only against dev_net(dev), so a
caller privileged there but not in t->net can rewrite a tunnel that
lives in t->net.

Add rtnl_dev_link_net_capable() next to rtnl_get_net_ns_capable() in
net/core/rtnetlink.c. It requires CAP_NET_ADMIN in the link netns and is
skipped when the link netns is dev_net(dev), where the rtnl path already
checked it. The other patches in this series use the same helper.

Gate ipgre_changelink() and erspan_changelink() with it, at the top of
the op before any attribute is parsed, because the parsers update live
tunnel fields first. ipgre_netlink_parms() sets t->collect_md before
ip_tunnel_changelink() runs.

Commit 8b484efd5c ("ip6: vti: Use ip6_tnl.net in
vti6_siocdevprivate().") added the same check on the ioctl path. This
adds it on RTM_NEWLINK.

Currently, phonet_address_notify() fetches netns and ifindex from dev.

Once addr_doit() is converted to RCU, phonet_address_notify() will be
called outside of RCU due to GFP_KERNEL, and dev will be unavailable
there.

Let's pass net and ifindex to phonet_address_notify().

The existing rbtree implementation uses singleton elements to represent
ranges, however, userspace provides a set size according to the number
of ranges in the set.

Adjust provided userspace set size to the number of singleton elements
in the kernel by multiplying the range by two.

Check if the no-match all-zero element is already in the set, in such
case release one slot in the set size.

Rajat GuptaandGreg Kroah-Hartman a071e05751 net/sched: fix pedit partial COW leading to page cache corruption

tcf_pedit_act() computes the COW range for skb_ensure_writable()
once before the key loop using tcfp_off_max_hint, but the hint does
not account for the runtime header offset added by typed keys. This
can leave part of the write region un-COW'd.

Fix by moving skb_ensure_writable() inside the per-key loop where
the actual write offset is known, and add overflow checking on the
offset arithmetic. For negative offsets (e.g. Ethernet header edits
at ingress), use skb_cow() to COW the headroom instead. Guard
offset_valid() against INT_MIN, where negation is undefined.

bt_sock_poll() walks the accept queue without synchronization, while
child teardown can unlink the same socket and drop its last reference.
The unsynchronized accept queue walk has existed since the initial
Bluetooth import.

Protect accept_q with a dedicated lock for queue updates and polling.
Also rework bt_accept_dequeue() to take temporary child references under
the queue lock before dropping it and locking the child socket.

Ido SchimmelandGreg Kroah-Hartman 07bfd1acaf genetlink: Use internal flags for multicast groups

As explained in commit e03781879a ("drop_monitor: Require
'CAP_SYS_ADMIN' when joining "events" group"), the "flags" field in the
multicast group structure reuses uAPI flags despite the field not being
exposed to user space. This makes it impossible to extend its use
without adding new uAPI flags, which is inappropriate for internal
kernel checks.

Solve this by adding internal flags (i.e., "GENL_MCAST_*") and convert
the existing users to use them instead of the uAPI flags.

Tested using the reproducers in commit 44ec98ea5e ("psample: Require
'CAP_NET_ADMIN' when joining "packets" group") and commit e03781879a
("drop_monitor: Require 'CAP_SYS_ADMIN' when joining "events" group").

No functional changes intended.

>From the MCTP Base specification (DSP0236 v1.2.1), the first byte of
the MCTP header contains a 4 bit reserved field, and 4 bit version.

On our current receive path, we require those 4 reserved bits to be
zero, but the 9500-8i card is non-conformant, and may set these
reserved bits.

DSP0236 states that the reserved bits must be written as zero, and
ignored when read. While the device might not conform to the former,
we should accept these message to conform to the latter.

Relax our check on the MCTP version byte to allow non-zero bits in the
reserved field.

Michael BommaritoandGreg Kroah-Hartman b20e8a98dd Bluetooth: L2CAP: reject BR/EDR signaling packets over MTUsig
commit dd21473354 upstream.

net/bluetooth/l2cap_core.c:l2cap_sig_channel() accepts BR/EDR
signaling packets up to the channel MTU and dispatches each command
without enforcing the signaling MTU (MTUsig). A Bluetooth BR/EDR peer
within radio range can send a fixed-channel CID 0x0001 packet that is
larger than MTUsig and contains many L2CAP_ECHO_REQ commands before
pairing. In a real-radio stock-kernel run, one 681-byte signaling
packet containing 168 zero-length ECHO_REQ commands made the target
transmit 168 ECHO_RSP frames over about 220 ms.

Impact: a Bluetooth BR/EDR peer within radio range, before pairing, can
force 168 ECHO_RSP frames from one 681-byte fixed-channel signaling
packet containing packed ECHO_REQ commands.

Define Linux's BR/EDR signaling MTU as the spec minimum of 48 bytes and
reject any larger signaling packet with one L2CAP_COMMAND_REJECT_RSP
carrying L2CAP_REJ_MTU_EXCEEDED before any command is dispatched.

The Bluetooth Core spec wording for MTUExceeded says the reject
identifier shall match the first request command in the packet, and
that packets containing only responses shall be silently discarded.
Linux intentionally deviates from that prescription: silently
discarding desynchronizes the peer because the remote stack never
learns its responses were dropped, and locating the first request
command requires walking command headers past MTUsig, i.e. processing
bytes from a packet we have already decided is too large to process.
We therefore always emit one reject and use the identifier from the
first command header, a single fixed-offset byte read.

The unrestricted BR/EDR signaling parser and ECHO_REQ response path both
trace to the initial git import; no later introducing commit is
available for a Fixes tag.

Holding reference on the expectation is not sufficient, the master
conntrack object can just go away, making exp->master invalid.

To access exp->master safely:

- Grab the nf_conntrack_expect_lock, this gets serialized with
  clean_from_lists() which also holds this lock when the master
  conntrack goes away.

- Hold reference on master conntrack via nf_conntrack_find_get().
  Not so easy since the master tuple to look up for the master conntrack
  is not available in the existing problematic paths.

This patch goes for extending the nf_conntrack_expect_lock section
to address this issue for simplicity, in the cases that are described
below this is just slightly extending the lock section.

The add expectation command already holds a reference to the master
conntrack from ctnetlink_create_expect().

However, the delete expectation command needs to grab the spinlock
before looking up for the expectation. Expand the existing spinlock
section to address this to cover the expectation lookup. Note that,
the nf_ct_expect_iterate_net() calls already grabs the spinlock while
iterating over the expectation table, which is correct.

The get expectation command needs to grab the spinlock to ensure master
conntrack does not go away. This also expands the existing spinlock
section to cover the expectation lookup too. I needed to move the
netlink skb allocation out of the spinlock to keep it GFP_KERNEL.

For the expectation events, the IPEXP_DESTROY event is already delivered
under the spinlock, just move the delivery of IPEXP_NEW under the
spinlock too because the master conntrack event cache is reached through
exp->master.

While at it, add lockdep notations to help identify what codepaths need
to grab the spinlock.

Weiming ShiandGreg Kroah-Hartman fbfde85308 netfilter: nf_conntrack: destroy stale expectfn expectations on unregister

NAT helpers such as nf_nat_h323 store a raw pointer to module text in
exp->expectfn (e.g. ip_nat_q931_expect). nf_ct_helper_expectfn_unregister()
only unlinks the callback descriptor and never walks the expectation table,
so an expectation pending at module removal survives with a dangling
exp->expectfn into freed module text.

When the expected connection arrives, init_conntrack() invokes
exp->expectfn(), now a stale pointer into the unloaded module. Reproduced
on a KASAN build by loading the H.323 helpers, creating a Q.931
expectation, unloading nf_nat_h323, then connecting to the expected port:

Reaching the dangling state requires CAP_SYS_MODULE in the initial user
namespace to remove a NAT helper that still has live expectations, so this
is a robustness fix; leaving an expectation pointing at freed text is wrong
regardless.

Add nf_ct_helper_expectfn_destroy(), which walks the expectation table and
drops every expectation whose ->expectfn matches the descriptor being torn
down. Call it from each NAT helper's exit path after the existing RCU grace
period, so no expectation outlives the code it points at and no extra
synchronize_rcu() is introduced. With the fix, the same reproducer runs to
completion without the Oops.

Kyle ZengandGreg Kroah-Hartman ad9a0374ee net: guard timestamp cmsgs to real error queue skbs

skb_is_err_queue() treats PACKET_OUTGOING as the sole marker for an skb
from sk_error_queue. That assumption is not true for AF_PACKET sockets:
outgoing packet taps are also delivered to packet sockets with
skb->pkt_type == PACKET_OUTGOING, but their skb->cb is owned by AF_PACKET
instead of struct sock_exterr_skb.

If such an skb is received with timestamping enabled, the generic
timestamp cmsg path can read AF_PACKET control-buffer state as
sock_exterr_skb::opt_stats. With SO_RXQ_OVFL enabled, the packet drop
counter overlaps opt_stats. An odd drop count makes the path emit
SCM_TIMESTAMPING_OPT_STATS with skb->len and skb->data. For non-linear
skbs this copies past the linear head and can trigger hardened usercopy or
disclose adjacent heap contents.

Keep skb_is_err_queue() local to net/socket.c, but make it verify that
the PACKET_OUTGOING marker is paired with the sock_rmem_free destructor
installed by sock_queue_err_skb(). AF_PACKET receive skbs use normal
receive ownership and no longer pass as error-queue skbs, while legitimate
sk_error_queue entries keep the PACKET_OUTGOING marker and sock_rmem_free
ownership.

When NEWTFILTER and DELFILTER are run concurrently it is possible to create a
race with an associated action.

Let's illustrate with CPU0 running NEWTFILTER and CPU1 running DELFILTER:

 0: mutex_lock() <-- holds the idr lock
 0: rcu_read_lock()
 0: p = idr_find(idr, index) <-- action p is valid (RCU protects IDR)
 0: mutex_unlock() <-- releases the idr lock
 1: refcount_dec_and_mutex_lock() <-- refcnt 1->0, mutex held
 1: idr_remove(idr, index) <-- Action removed from IDR
 1: mutex_unlock() <-- mutex released allowing us to delete the action
 1: tcf_action_cleanup(p); kfree(p) <-- Kfrees p immediately, no deferral
 0: refcount_inc_not_zero(&p->tcfa_refcnt) <-- ouch, UAF p points to freed memory

This patch fixes the race condition between NEWTFILTER and DELFILTER by
adding struct rcu_head to tc_action used in the deferral and introducing a
call_rcu() in the delete path to defer the final kfree().

Note: this is a revert of commit d7fb60b9ca ("net_sched: get rid of tcfa_rcu")
but also modernization/simplification to directly use kfree_rcu().

Let's illustrate the new restored code path:

CPU0's subsequent idr_find() will return NULL, and even if it still held a
stale pointer, the immediate kfree() is now deferred until after the RCU grace
period, so no UAF can occur.

Julian AnastasovandGreg Kroah-Hartman 7d4f500451 ipvs: clear the svc scheduler ptr early on edit

ip_vs_edit_service() while unbinding the old scheduler clears
the svc->scheduler ptr after the scheduler module initiates
RCU callbacks. This can cause packets to use the old
scheduler at the time when svc->sched_data is already freed
after RCU grace period.

Fix it by clearing the ptr early in ip_vs_unbind_scheduler(),
before the done_service method schedules any RCU callbacks.

Also, if the new scheduler fails to initialize when replacing
the old scheduler, try to restore the old scheduler while still
returning the error code.

Jiayuan ChenandGreg Kroah-Hartman 0a80e6ecaf bpf/bonding: reject vlan+srcmac xmit_hash_policy change when XDP is loaded

bond_option_mode_set() already rejects mode changes that would make a
loaded XDP program incompatible via bond_xdp_check().  However,
bond_option_xmit_hash_policy_set() has no such guard.

For 802.3ad and balance-xor modes, bond_xdp_check() returns false when
xmit_hash_policy is vlan+srcmac, because the 802.1q payload is usually
absent due to hardware offload.  This means a user can:

1. Attach a native XDP program to a bond in 802.3ad/balance-xor mode
   with a compatible xmit_hash_policy (e.g. layer2+3).
2. Change xmit_hash_policy to vlan+srcmac while XDP remains loaded.

This leaves bond->xdp_prog set but bond_xdp_check() now returning false
for the same device.  When the bond is later destroyed, dev_xdp_uninstall()
calls bond_xdp_set(dev, NULL, NULL) to remove the program, which hits
the bond_xdp_check() guard and returns -EOPNOTSUPP, triggering:

WARN_ON(dev_xdp_install(dev, mode, bpf_op, NULL, 0, NULL))

Fix this by rejecting xmit_hash_policy changes to vlan+srcmac when an
XDP program is loaded on a bond in 802.3ad or balance-xor mode.

commit 39a0876d59 ("net, bonding: Disallow vlan+srcmac with XDP")
introduced bond_xdp_check() which returns false for 802.3ad/balance-xor
modes when xmit_hash_policy is vlan+srcmac.  The check was wired into
bond_xdp_set() to reject XDP attachment with an incompatible policy, but
the symmetric path -- preventing xmit_hash_policy from being changed to an
incompatible value after XDP is already loaded -- was left unguarded in
bond_option_xmit_hash_policy_set().

Note:
commit 094ee6017e ("bonding: check xdp prog when set bond mode")
later added a similar guard to bond_option_mode_set(), but
bond_option_xmit_hash_policy_set() remained unprotected.

Maoyi XieandGreg Kroah-Hartman fe46379834 xfrm: route MIGRATE notifications to caller's netns
commit 7e2a4f7ca0 upstream.

xfrm_send_migrate() in net/xfrm/xfrm_user.c and pfkey_send_migrate()
in net/key/af_key.c both hardcode &init_net for the multicast that
announces a successful XFRM_MSG_MIGRATE / SADB_X_MIGRATE.

XFRM_MSG_MIGRATE arrives on a per-netns NETLINK_XFRM socket, and the
rest of the xfrm/af_key netlink path was made netns-aware in 2008.
The other 14 multicast paths in xfrm_user.c route their event using
xs_net(x), xp_net(xp) or sock_net(skb->sk); only the migrate path
was missed.

Two consequences of the init_net hardcoding:

  1. The notification (selector, old/new endpoint addresses, and the
     km_address) is delivered to listeners on init_net's
     XFRMNLGRP_MIGRATE / pfkey BROADCAST_ALL groups rather than on
     the issuing netns. An IKE daemon running in init_net therefore
     receives migration notifications originating from any other
     netns on the host.

  2. An IKE daemon running inside a non-init netns and subscribed
     to its own XFRMNLGRP_MIGRATE / pfkey groups never receives the
     notification of its own migration. IKEv2 MOBIKE / address-update
     handling inside a netns is silently broken.

Thread struct net through km_migrate() and the xfrm_mgr.migrate
function pointer, drop the &init_net override in xfrm_send_migrate()
and pfkey_send_migrate(), and pass the caller's net (already in
scope in xfrm_migrate() via sock_net(skb->sk)) all the way down.
struct xfrm_mgr is in-tree only and not exported as a stable API,
so the function-pointer signature change is internal.

pfkey_broadcast() is already netns-aware via net_generic(net,
pfkey_net_id) since the pernet conversion. The five other
pfkey_broadcast() callers in af_key.c already pass xs_net(x),
sock_net(sk) or a per-netns net, so this only removes the
&init_net outlier.

commit e196115ec3 upstream.

br_pass_frame_up() rewrites skb->dev from the ingress port to the bridge
master before queueing bridge LOCAL_IN packets. NFQUEUE only holds
references on state.in/out and bridge physdevs, so a queued bridge
packet can retain a freed bridge master in skb->dev until reinjection.

When the verdict is reinjected later, br_netif_receive_skb() re-enters
the receive path with skb->dev still pointing at the freed bridge master,
triggering a use-after-free.

Store skb->dev in the queue entry, hold a reference on it for the queue
lifetime, and use the saved device when dropping queued packets during
NETDEV_DOWN handling.

Stacking technology is a type of technology used to expand ports on
Ethernet switches. It is widely used as a common access method in
large-scale Internet data center architectures. Years of practice
have proved that stacking technology has advantages and disadvantages
in high-reliability network architecture scenarios. For instance,
in stacking networking arch, conventional switch system upgrades
require multiple stacked devices to restart at the same time.
Therefore, it is inevitable that the business will be interrupted
for a while. It is for this reason that "no-stacking" in data centers
has become a trend. Additionally, when the stacking link connecting
the switches fails or is abnormal, the stack will split. Although it is
not common, it still happens in actual operation. The problem is that
after the split, it is equivalent to two switches with the same
configuration appearing in the network, causing network configuration
conflicts and ultimately interrupting the services carried by the
stacking system.

To improve network stability, "non-stacking" solutions have been
increasingly adopted, particularly by public cloud providers and
tech companies like Alibaba, Tencent, and Didi. "non-stacking" is
a method of mimicing switch stacking that convinces a LACP peer,
bonding in this case, connected to a set of "non-stacked" switches
that all of its ports are connected to a single switch
(i.e., LACP aggregator), as if those switches were stacked. This
enables the LACP peer's ports to aggregate together, and requires
(a) special switch configuration, described in the linked article,
and (b) modifications to the bonding 802.3ad (LACP) mode to send
all ARP/ND packets across all ports of the active aggregator.

Note that, with multiple aggregators, the current broadcast mode
logic will send only packets to the selected aggregator(s).

Prepare for these changes by renaming the function to
udp_tunnel6_dst_lookup() and move it to file
net/ipv6/ip6_udp_tunnel.c.

This is similar to what already done for IPv4 in commit bf3fcbf7e7
("ipv4: rename and move ip_route_output_tunnel()").

We want to make the function more generic so that it can be used by
other UDP tunnel implementations such as geneve and vxlan. To do that,
add the following arguments:

 - source and destination UDP port;
 - ifindex of the output interface, needed by vxlan;
 - the tos, because in some cases it is not taken from struct
   ip_tunnel_info (for example, when it's inherited from the inner
   packet);
 - the dst cache, because not all tunnel types (e.g. vxlan) want to
   use the one from struct ip_tunnel_info.

With these parameters, the function no longer needs the full struct
ip_tunnel_info as argument and we can pass only the relevant part of
it (struct ip_tunnel_key).

goal is to make qdisc dump operations lockless as much as we can.

tc_pie_xstats fields don't need to be latched atomically,
otherwise this bug would have been caught earlier.

We have two places where a const sock pointer has to be upgraded
to a write one. We have been using const qualifier for lockless
listeners to clearly identify points where writes could happen.

Add tcp_sk_rw() helper to better document these.

tcp_inbound_md5_hash(), __tcp_grow_window(), tcp_reset_check()
and tcp_rack_reo_wnd() get an additional const qualififer
for their @tp local variables.

smc_check_reset_syn_req() also needs a similar change.

Add kfree_skb() to the first error path so all three are consistent,
and remove the now-redundant frees in callers (ath9k, mt76,
mac80211_hwsim) to avoid double-free.

Document the skb ownership guarantee in the function's kdoc.

When delete the namespace, dev_xdp_uninstall() is called to remove xdp
program on bond dev, and bond_xdp_set() will check the bond mode. If bond
mode is changed after attaching xdp program, the warning may occur.

Some bond modes (broadcast, etc.) do not support native xdp. Set bond mode
with xdp program attached is not good. Add check for xdp program when set
bond mode.

Tuan DoandGreg Kroah-Hartman f16fe84879 netfilter: nft_ct: fix use-after-free in timeout object destroy
commit f8dca15a1b upstream.

nft_ct_timeout_obj_destroy() frees the timeout object with kfree()
immediately after nf_ct_untimeout(), without waiting for an RCU grace
period. Concurrent packet processing on other CPUs may still hold
RCU-protected references to the timeout object obtained via
rcu_dereference() in nf_ct_timeout_data().

Add an rcu_head to struct nf_ct_timeout and use kfree_rcu() to defer
freeing until after an RCU grace period, matching the approach already
used in nfnetlink_cttimeout.c.

__nf_ct_expect_find() and nf_ct_expect_find_get() are called under
rcu_read_lock() but they dereference the master conntrack via
exp->master.

Since the expectation does not hold a reference on the master conntrack,
this could be dying conntrack or different recycled conntrack than the
real master due to SLAB_TYPESAFE_RCU.

Store the netns, the master_tuple and the zone in struct
nf_conntrack_expect as a safety measure.

This patch is required by the follow up fix not to dump expectations
that do not belong to this netns.

The expectation helper field is mostly unused. As a result, the
netfilter codebase relies on accessing the helper through exp->master.

Always set on the expectation helper field so it can be used to reach
the helper.

nf_ct_expect_init() is called from packet path where the skb owns
the ct object, therefore accessing exp->master for the newly created
expectation is safe. This saves a lot of updates in all callsites
to pass the ct object as parameter to nf_ct_expect_init().

This is a preparation patches for follow up fixes.

__NLA_IS_BEINT_TYPE(tp) isn't useful.  NLA_BE16/32 are identical to
NLA_U16/32, the only difference is that it tells the netlink validation
functions that byteorder conversion might be needed before comparing
the value to the policy min/max ones.

After this change all policy macros that can be used with UINT types,
such as NLA_POLICY_MASK() can also be used with NLA_BE16/32.

This will be used to validate nf_tables flag attributes which
are in bigendian byte order.

When binding a udp_sock to a local address and port, UDP uses
two hashes (udptable->hash and udptable->hash2) for collision
detection. The current code switches to "hash2" when
hslot->count > 10.

"hash2" is keyed by local address and local port.
"hash" is keyed by local port only.

The issue can be shown in the following bind sequence (pseudo code):

The same issue applies to the IPv4 wildcard address "0.0.0.0"
and the IPv4-mapped wildcard address "::ffff:0.0.0.0". For

"[::ffff:0.0.0.0]:8888" can also miss the conflict when
hslot->count > 10.

TCP inet_csk_get_port() already has the correct check in
inet_use_bhash2_on_bind(). Rename it to
inet_use_hash2_on_bind() and move it to inet_hashtables.h
so udp.c can reuse it in this fix.

Yiming Qian reports Use-after-free in the pipapo set type:
  Under a large number of expired elements, commit-time GC can run for a very
  long time in a non-preemptible context, triggering soft lockup warnings and
  RCU stall reports (local denial of service).

We must split GC in an unlink and a reclaim phase.

We cannot queue elements for freeing until pointers have been swapped.
Expired elements are still exposed to both the packet path and userspace
dumpers via the live copy of the data structure.

call_rcu() does not protect us: dump operations or element lookups starting
after call_rcu has fired can still observe the free'd element, unless the
commit phase has made enough progress to swap the clone and live pointers
before any new reader has picked up the old version.

This a similar approach as done recently for the rbtree backend in commit
35f83a7552 ("netfilter: nft_set_rbtree: don't gc elements on insert").

syzbot reported use-after-free in vhci_flush() without repro. [0]

>From the splat, a thread close()d a vhci file descriptor while
its device was being used by iotcl() on another thread.

Once the last fd refcnt is released, vhci_release() calls
hci_unregister_dev(), hci_free_dev(), and kfree() for struct
vhci_data, which is set to hci_dev->dev->driver_data.

The problem is that there is no synchronisation after unlinking
hdev from hci_dev_list in hci_unregister_dev().  There might be
another thread still accessing the hdev which was fetched before
the unlink operation.

We can use SRCU for such synchronisation.

Let's run hci_dev_reset() under SRCU and wait for its completion
in hci_unregister_dev().

Another option would be to restore hci_dev->destruct(), which was
removed in commit 587ae086f6 ("Bluetooth: Remove unused
hci-destruct cb").  However, this would not be a good solution, as
we should not run hci_unregister_dev() while there are in-flight
ioctl() requests, which could lead to another data-race KCSAN splat.

Note that other drivers seem to have the same problem, for exmaple,
virtbt_remove().

When CONFIG_IPV6 is disabled, the udp_sock_create6() function returns 0

Workflow to reproduce:
1. Initialize a TEQL topology (dummy0 and ifb0 as slaves, teql0 up).
2. Start multiple sender workers continuously transmitting packets
   through teql0 to drive teql_master_xmit().
3. In parallel, repeatedly delete and re-add the root qdisc on
   dummy0 and ifb0 via RTNETLINK, forcing frequent teardown and reset activity
   (teql_destroy() / qdisc_reset()).
4. After running both workloads concurrently for several iterations,
   KASAN reports slab-use-after-free or double-free in the skb free path.

Fix this by moving dev_reset_queue to sch_generic.h and calling it, instead
of qdisc_reset, in teql_destroy since it handles both the lock and lockless
cases correctly for root qdiscs.

The gate action can be replaced while the hrtimer callback or dump path is
walking the schedule list.

Convert the parameters to an RCU-protected snapshot and swap updates under
tcf_lock, freeing the previous snapshot via call_rcu(). When REPLACE omits
the entry list, preserve the existing schedule so the effective state is
unchanged.

As Paolo said earlier [1]:

"Since the blamed commit below, classify can return TC_ACT_CONSUMED while
the current skb being held by the defragmentation engine. As reported by
GangMin Kim, if such packet is that may cause a UaF when the defrag engine
later on tries to tuch again such packet."

act_ct was never meant to be used in the egress path, however some users
are attaching it to egress today [2]. Attempting to reach a middle
ground, we noticed that, while most qdiscs are not handling
TC_ACT_CONSUMED, clsact/ingress qdiscs are. With that in mind, we
address the issue by only allowing act_ct to bind to clsact/ingress
qdiscs and shared blocks. That way it's still possible to attach act_ct to
egress (albeit only with clsact).

When shrinking the number of real tx queues,
netif_set_real_num_tx_queues() calls qdisc_reset_all_tx_gt() to flush
qdiscs for queues which will no longer be used.

qdisc_reset_all_tx_gt() currently serializes qdisc_reset() with
qdisc_lock(). However, for lockless qdiscs, the dequeue path is
serialized by qdisc_run_begin/end() using qdisc->seqlock instead, so
qdisc_reset() can run concurrently with __qdisc_run() and free skbs
while they are still being dequeued, leading to UAF.

This can easily be reproduced on e.g. virtio-net by imposing heavy
traffic while frequently changing the number of queue pairs:

Serialize qdisc_reset_all_tx_gt() against the lockless dequeue path by
taking qdisc->seqlock for TCQ_F_NOLOCK qdiscs, matching the
serialization model already used by dev_reset_queue().

reflects an empty queue, avoiding needless re-scheduling.

QanuxandSasha Levin fb3c662faf ipv6: ioam: fix heap buffer overflow in __ioam6_fill_trace_data()

On the receive path, __ioam6_fill_trace_data() uses trace->nodelen
to decide how much data to write for each node. It trusts this field
as-is from the incoming packet, with no consistency check against
trace->type (the 24-bit field that tells which data items are
present). A crafted packet can set nodelen=0 while setting type bits
0-21, causing the function to write ~100 bytes past the allocated
region (into skb_shared_info), which corrupts adjacent heap memory
and leads to a kernel panic.

Add a shared helper ioam6_trace_compute_nodelen() in ioam6.c to
derive the expected nodelen from the type field, and use it:

  - in ioam6_iptunnel.c (send path, existing validation) to replace
    the open-coded computation;
  - in exthdrs.c (receive path, ipv6_hop_ioam) to drop packets whose
    nodelen is inconsistent with the type field, before any data is
    written.

Per RFC 9197, bits 12-21 are each short (4-octet) fields, so they
are included in IOAM6_MASK_SHORT_FIELDS (changed from 0xff100000 to
0xff1ffc00).

This fixes responding with an invalid result caused by checking the
wrong size of CID which should have been (cmd_len - sizeof(*req)) and
on top of it the wrong result was use L2CAP_CR_LE_INVALID_PARAMS which
is invalid/reserved for reconf when running test like L2CAP/ECFC/BI-03-C:
