fee858fa03 dt-bindings: serial: brcm,bcm7271-uart: Constrain clocks
commit ee047e1d85 upstream.

Lists should have fixed constraints, because binding must be specific in
respect to hardware, thus add missing constraints to number of clocks.

1f6e759907 dt-bindings: serial: 8250: Make clocks and clock-frequency exclusive
commit 0981213407 upstream.

The 8250 binding before converting to json-schema states,

  - clock-frequency : the input clock frequency for the UART
  	or
  - clocks phandle to refer to the clk used as per Documentation/devicetree

for clock-related properties, where "or" indicates these properties
shouldn't exist at the same time.

Additionally, the behavior of Linux's driver is strange when both clocks
and clock-frequency are specified: it ignores clocks and obtains the
frequency from clock-frequency, left the specified clocks unclaimed. It
may even be disabled, which is undesired most of the time.

But "anyOf" doesn't prevent these two properties from coexisting, as it
considers the object valid as long as there's at LEAST one match.

Let's switch to "oneOf" and disallows the other property if one exists,
precisely matching the original binding and avoiding future confusion on
the driver's behavior.

   - 8250_platform driver cleanups

   - samsung serial driver fixes and updates

   - qcom-geni serial driver fixes from Johan for the bizarre UART

state now, but hardware designers still seem to come up with more
ways to make broken UARTS 40+ years after this all should have

   - sc16is7xx driver updates

   - omap 8250 driver updates

9da89fe1b9 dt-bindings: serial: samsung: avoid duplicating permitted clock-names
This binding currently duplicates the permitted clock-names in various
places, and when adding more compatibles, clock-names will have to be
duplicated even more.

The reason is:
1) subschemas (-if: ...), still have to match the top-level:
       pattern: '^clk_uart_baud[0-3]$'
2) there is one compatible that doesn't follow sequential numbering for
   the clock names (samsung,s3c6400-uart)
3) when limiting the number of clock-names, we also want to enforce
   sequential names
Because of 1) and 2), the patterns can not simply be changed to
constant strings, and later overridden in a different subschema (for
samsung,s3c6400-uart only).

Since we can't populate the top-level clock-names based on the
compatible, and because when limiting the number of items we generally
want sequential numbers and not a pattern, move the permitted strings
into a subschema of its own and populate it based on the compatible:
    * 'uart clk_uart_baud2 clk_uart_baud3' for the one outlier
    * 'uart clk_uart_baud0..3' for everything else

This way we can avoid having to duplicate the permitted names
everywhere.

While at it, add blank lines as per the universal style, which is to
have blank lines between properties, except where they are booleans.

Also add another example using a compatible that uses the default
clock-names scheme, as opposed to the existing example that uses
samsung,s3c6400-uart's non-default clock-names. This allows testing
both versions of the clock-names property when running
dt_binding_check.

Document support for the Serial Communication Interface with FIFO (SCIF)
available in the Renesas RZ/V2H(P) (R9A09G057) SoC. The SCIF interface in
the Renesas RZ/V2H(P) is similar to that available in the RZ/G2L
(R9A07G044) SoC, with the following differences:

- RZ/V2H(P) SoC has three additional interrupts: one for Tx end/Rx ready
and two for Rx and Tx buffer full, all of which are edge-triggered.
- RZ/V2H(P) supports asynchronous mode, whereas RZ/G2L supports both
  synchronous and asynchronous modes.
- There are differences in the configuration of certain registers such
as SCSMR, SCFCR, and SCSPTR between the two SoCs.

To handle these differences in the driver, a new SoC-specific compatible
string is added, ensuring proper handling of the unique features and
register configurations of the RZ/V2H(P) SoC.

5bcbbaf074 spi: dt-bindings: marvell,mmp2-ssp: Merge PXA SSP into schema
The Marvell PXA SSP block is the same or similiar to the MMP2 variant.
The only difference in the binding is the PXA version supports DMA (and
that's probably a binding difference rather than an actual h/w
difference).

The old binding didn't belong under 'serial' as it is not a UART. The
SSP block also supports audio devices, so 'spi' is not a perfect fit
either. As the existing schema for MMP2 is there, just leave things
as-is.

The examples in the old text binding were pretty out of sync with
reality. 'clock-names' and 'ssp-id' aren't documented nor used.

da680c045f dt-bindings: serial: Describe ARM dcc interface
Debug Communication Channel (DCC) provides the way how to pass data between
target CPU and host via JTAG interface. Every CPU has own interface for
communication via dbgdtrtx_el0 and dbgdtrrx_el0 registers.

9df1dd4506 dt-bindings: serial: imx: Properly describe the i.MX1 interrupts
i.MX1 has three UART interrupts instead of a single one like other
i.MX devices.

Take this into account for properly describing the i.MX1 UART
interrupts.

This fixes the following dt-schema warning:

	from schema $id: http://devicetree.org/schemas/serial/fsl-imx-uart.yaml#yaml#

imx1-ads.dtb: serial@206000: interrupts: [[30], [29], [26]] is too long

2072496129 dt-bindings: serial: samsung: Make samsung,uart-fifosize a required property
Specifying samsung,uart-fifosize in both DT and driver static data is error
prone and relies on driver probe order and dt aliases to be correct.

Additionally on many Exynos platforms these are (USI) universal serial
interfaces which can be uart, spi or i2c, so it can change per board.

For google,gs101-uart make samsung,uart-fifosize a required property.
For this platform fifosize now *only* comes from DT.
