Add DMI entry for Huawei Matebook D (BOD-WXX9) with HEADPHONE_GPIO
and DMIC quirks.
This device has ES8336 codec with:
- GPIO 16 (headphone-enable) for headphone amplifier control
- GPIO 17 (speakers-enable) for speaker amplifier control
- GPIO 269 for jack detection IRQ
- 2-channel DMIC
Hardware investigation shows that both GPIO 16 and 17 are required
for proper audio routing, as headphones and speakers share the same
physical output (HPOL/HPOR) and are separated only via amplifier
enable signals.
RFC: Seeking advice on GPIO control issue:
GPIO values change in driver (gpiod_get_value() shows logical value
changes) but not physically (debugfs gpio shows no change). The same
gpiod_set_value_cansleep() calls work correctly in probe context with
msleep(), but fail when called from DAPM event callbacks.
Context information from diagnostics:
- in_atomic=0, in_interrupt=0, irqs_disabled=0
- Process context: pipewire
- GPIO 17 (speakers): changes in driver, no physical change
- GPIO 16 (headphone): changes in driver, no physical change
In Windows, audio switching works without visible GPIO changes,
suggesting possible ACPI/firmware involvement.
Any suggestions on how to properly control these GPIOs from DAPM
events would be appreciated.

The headphone GPIO should be set to the inverse of speaker_en.
When speakers are enabled, headphones should be disabled and vice versa.
Currently both GPIOs are set to the same value (speaker_en), causing
audio to play through both speakers and headphones simultaneously
when headphones are plugged in.
Tested on Huawei Matebook (BOD-WXX9) with ES8336 codec.

The pcm->prepare() function may be called multiple times in a row by the
userspace, as mentioned in the documentation. The driver shall take that
into account and prevent redundancy. However, the exact same function is
called during XRUNs and in such case, the particular stream shall be
reset and setup anew.

In create_sdw_dailink() check that sof_end->codec_info->add_sidecar
is not NULL before calling it.
The original code assumed that if include_sidecar is true, the codec
on that link has an add_sidecar callback. But there could be other
codecs on the same link that do not have an add_sidecar callback.

When an invalid value is passed via quirk option, currently
bytcr_rt5640 driver just ignores and leaves as is, which may lead to
unepxected results like OOB access.
This patch adds the sanity check and corrects the input mapping to the
certain default value if an invalid value is passed.

This may lead to unepxected results like OOB access.
This patch corrects the input mapping to the certain default value if
an invalid value is passed.

Add an optional dependency on SND_SOC_SOF_INTEL_COMMON, to ensure that whenever
the SOF support is in a loadable module, none of the board code can be built-in.
This may be be a little heavy-handed, but I also don't see a reason why one would
want the boards to be built-in but not the SoC, so it shouldn't actually cause
any usability problems.

Add lookup of PCI subsystem vendor:device ID to find a quirk.
The subsystem ID (SSID) is part of the PCI specification to uniquely
identify a particular system-specific implementation of a hardware
device.
Unlike DMI information, it identifies the sound hardware itself, rather
than a specific model of PC. SSID can be more reliable and stable than
DMI strings, and is preferred by some vendors as the way to identify
the actual sound hardware.

The Vexia EDU ATLA 10 tablet comes in 2 different versions with
significantly different mainboards. The only outward difference is that
the charging barrel on one is marked 5V and the other is marked 9V.
The 5V version mostly works with the BYTCR defaults, except that it is
missing a CHAN package in its ACPI tables and the default of using
SSP0-AIF2 is wrong, instead SSP0-AIF1 must be used. That and its jack
detect signal is not inverted as it usually is.
Add a DMI quirk for the 5V version to fix sound not working.

The snd_hdac_adsp_xxx() wrap snd_hdac_reg_xxx() helpers to simplify
register access for AudioDSP drivers e.g.: the avs-driver. Byte- and
word-variants of said helps do not expand to bare readx/writex()
operations but functions instead and, due to pointer type
incompatibility, cause compilation to fail.
As the macros are utilized by the avs-driver alone, relocate the code
introduced with commit c19bd02e90 ("ALSA: hda: Add helper macros for
DSP capable devices") into the avs/ directory and update it to operate
on 'adev' i.e.: the avs-driver-context directly to fix the issue.
