Nishanth Menon 715cbb21c6 drm/bridge: it66121: Add minimal it66122 support
The IT66122 is a pin compatible replacement for the IT66122. Based on
empirical testing, the new device looks to be compatible with IT66121.
However due to a lack of public data sheet at this time beyond overall
feature list[1] (which seems to add additional features vs ITT66121),
it is hard to determine that additional register operations required
to enable additional features.

So, introduce the device as a new compatible that we will detect based
on vid/pid match, with explicit id that can be used to extend the
driver capability as information becomes available later on.

Nishanth Menon a8811c0bb7 drm/bridge: it66121: Use vid/pid to detect the type of chip
The driver knows exactly which version of the chip is present since
the vid/pid is used to enforce a compatibility. Given that some
devices like IT66121 has potentially been replaced with IT66122 mid
production for many platforms, it makes no sense to use the vid/pid
as an enforcement for compatibility. Instead, detect the ID of the
actual chip in use by matching the corresponding vid/pid and drop the
compatible specific lookup table.

Cristian Ciocaltea f7a1de0d86 drm/bridge: dw-hdmi-qp: Fixup timer base setup
Currently the TIMER_BASE_CONFIG0 register gets initialized to a fixed
value as initially found in vendor driver code supporting the RK3588
SoC. As a matter of fact the value matches the rate of the HDMI TX
reference clock, which is roughly 428.57 MHz.

However, on RK3576 SoC that rate is slightly lower, i.e. 396.00 MHz, and
the incorrect register configuration breaks CEC functionality.

Set the timer base according to the actual reference clock rate that
shall be provided by the platform driver. Otherwise fallback to the
vendor default.

While at it, also drop the unnecessary empty lines in
dw_hdmi_qp_init_hw().

Add support for the CEC interface of the Synopsys DesignWare HDMI QP TX
controller.

This is based on the downstream implementation, but rewritten on top of
the CEC helpers added recently to the DRM HDMI connector framework.

Also note struct dw_hdmi_qp_plat_data has been extended to include the
CEC IRQ number to be provided by the platform driver.

Marek Vasut db74b04edc drm/bridge: lt9211: Drop check for last nibble of version register
There is now a new LT9211 rev. U5, which reports chip ID 0x18 0x01 0xe4 .
The previous LT9211 reported chip ID 0x18 0x01 0xe3 , which is what the
driver checks for right now. Since there is a possibility there will be
yet another revision of the LT9211 in the future, drop the last version
nibble check to allow all future revisions of the chip to work with this
driver.

This fix makes LT9211 rev. U5 work with this driver.

Shengjiu Wang 0205fae632 drm/bridge: imx: add driver for HDMI TX Parallel Audio Interface
The HDMI TX Parallel Audio Interface (HTX_PAI) is a digital module that
acts as the bridge between the Audio Subsystem to the HDMI TX Controller.
This IP block is found in the HDMI subsystem of the i.MX8MP SoC.

Data received from the audio subsystem can have an arbitrary component
ordering. The HTX_PAI block has integrated muxing options to select which
sections of the 32-bit input data word will be mapped to each IEC60958
field. The HTX_PAI_FIELD_CTRL register contains mux selects to
individually select P,C,U,V,Data, and Preamble.

Use component helper so that imx8mp-hdmi-tx will be aggregate driver,
imx8mp-hdmi-pai will be component driver, then imx8mp-hdmi-pai can use
bind() ops to get the plat_data from imx8mp-hdmi-tx device.

Kaustabh Chakraborty f08051a415 drm/bridge: samsung-dsim: add ability to define clock names for every variant
Presently, all devices refer to clock names from a single array. The
only controlling parameter is the number of clocks (num_clks field of
samsung_dsim_driver_data) which uses the first n clocks of that array.
As new devices are added, this approach turns out to be cumbersome.

Separate the clock names in individual arrays required by each variant,
in a struct clk_bulk_data. Add a pointer field to the driver data struct
which points to their respective clock names, and rework the clock usage
code to use the clk_bulk_* API instead.

Michael Walle bdd5a14e66 drm/bridge: ti-sn65dsi86: fix REFCLK setting
The bridge has three bootstrap pins which are sampled to determine the
frequency of the external reference clock. The driver will also
(over)write that setting. But it seems this is racy after the bridge is
enabled. It was observed that although the driver write the correct
value (by sniffing on the I2C bus), the register has the wrong value.
The datasheet states that the GPIO lines have to be stable for at least
5us after asserting the EN signal. Thus, there seems to be some logic
which samples the GPIO lines and this logic appears to overwrite the
register value which was set by the driver. Waiting 20us after
asserting the EN line resolves this issue.
