Candice Li e5565e7c3f drm/amd/ras: validate RAS EEPROM tbl_size before record count
Corrupt EEPROM data can set tbl_size below the table header size.
Guard the RAS_NUM_RECS macros against undersized tbl_size and reset
the table during init when tbl_size is below the minimum for the table
version instead of trusting the header.

Chenglei Xie 26057fb8e1 drm/amdgpu: Fix TOCTOU on UniRAS command response size
The guest maps the PF response in shared VRAM (struct ras_cmd_ctx in the
command buffer). After amdgpu_virt_send_remote_ras_cmd() returns, the code
validated rcmd->output_size against the caller buffer, then copied
rcmd->output_buff_raw using rcmd->output_size again. A malicious PF could
change output_size between those reads so the memcpy length exceeds the
caller’s output_size and overflows guest stack or heap buffers.

Snapshot output_size with READ_ONCE() once, assign cmd->output_size from
that value, and use the same snapshot for the bounds check and memcpy.
Also read cmd_res once with READ_ONCE() so the error branch and
cmd->cmd_res assignment do not observe different values from shared memory.

Xiang Liu b5fa84e805 drm/amd/ras: Fix SMU EEPROM record field decoding
The SMU EEPROM read paths pass byte-sized record field addresses
to mca_ipid_parse(), whose outputs are u32 pointers.

Writing through those widened pointers can clobber adjacent fields

explicitly narrow the values when storing them in the EEPROM record.

Chenglei Xie c06b6cde2a drm/amdgpu: fix OOB risk parsing virt RAS batch trace replies on the VF
amdgpu_virt_ras_get_batch_records() indexed batchs[] and records[]
from ras_cmd_batch_trace_record_rsp copied out of shared memory without
fully bounding the cache window or per-batch offset/trace_num. A
tampered or corrupted buffer could set real_batch_num past the array,
make a naive start_batch_id + real_batch_num comparison wrap in
uint64_t, or point offset+trace_num past records[].

Add amdgpu_virt_ras_check_batch_cached() for a subtraction-based window
with a real_batch_num cap, re-run it after GET_BATCH_TRACE_RECORD, and
use an explicit batch index into batchs[]. Consolidate batch_id,
trace_num, and offset+trace_num checks; on any failure memset the cache
and return -EIO so the next call refetches.

Srinivasan Shanmugam fd490bb9e1 drm/amd/ras: Remove redundant NULL check in pending bad-bank list iteration
ras_umc_log_pending_bad_bank() walks through a list of pending ECC
bad-bank entries. These entries are saved when a bad-bank error cannot
be processed immediately, for example during a GPU reset.

Later, this function iterates over the pending list and retries logging
each bad-bank error. If logging succeeds, the entry is removed from the
list and the memory for that node is freed.

The loop uses list_for_each_entry_safe(), which already guarantees that
ecc_node points to a valid list entry while the loop body is executing.

Checking "ecc_node &&" inside the loop is therefore unnecessary and
redundant.

Fixes the below:
drivers/gpu/drm/amd/amdgpu/../ras/rascore/ras_umc.c:225 ras_umc_log_pending_bad_bank() warn: variable dereferenced before check 'ecc_node' (see line 223)

Srinivasan Shanmugam 2b8101cc3b drm/amd/ras: Fix NULL deref in ras_core_get_utc_second_timestamp()
ras_core_get_utc_second_timestamp() retrieves the current UTC timestamp
(in seconds since the Unix epoch) through a platform-specific RAS system
callback and is used for timestamping RAS error events.

The function checks ras_core in the conditional statement before calling
the sys_fn callback. However, when the condition fails, the function
prints an error message using ras_core->dev.

If ras_core is NULL, this can lead to a potential NULL pointer
dereference when accessing ras_core->dev.

Add an early NULL check for ras_core at the beginning of the function
and return 0 when the pointer is not valid. This prevents the
dereference and makes the control flow clearer.

Use a 64-bit type for the remainder calculation, but leave
remaining_seconds as 32-bit to avoid 64-bit division later. The value of
remainder will always be less than seconds_per_day, so there's no
truncation risk.

Linus Torvalds 32a92f8c89 Convert more 'alloc_obj' cases to default GFP_KERNEL arguments
This converts some of the visually simpler cases that have been split
over multiple lines. I only did the ones that are easy to verify the
resulting diff by having just that final GFP_KERNEL argument on the next
line.

Somebody should probably do a proper coccinelle script for this, but for
me the trivial script actually resulted in an assertion failure in the
middle of the script. I probably had made it a bit _too_ trivial.

So after fighting that far a while I decided to just do some of the
syntactically simpler cases with variations of the previous 'sed'
scripts.

The more syntactically complex multi-line cases would mostly really want
whitespace cleanup anyway.
