Shashank Balaji a7a7dc5c46 driver core: platform: set mod_name in driver registration
Pass KBUILD_MODNAME through the driver registration macro so that the
driver core can create the module symlink in sysfs for built-in drivers,
and fixup all callers.

The Rust platform adapter is updated to pass the module name through to
the new parameter.

Tested on qemu with:
- x86 defconfig + CONFIG_RUST
- arm64 defconfig + CONFIG_RUST + CONFIG_CORESIGHT stuff

Examples after this patch:

    /sys/bus/platform/drivers/...
        coresight-itnoc/module		-> coresight_tnoc
        coresight-static-tpdm/module	-> coresight_tpdm
        coresight-catu-platform/module	-> coresight_catu
        serial8250/module		-> 8250
        acpi-ged/module			-> acpi
        vmclock/module			-> ptp_vmclock

Leo Yan 7105d2aa76 coresight: Move CPU hotplug callbacks to core layer
This commit moves CPU hotplug callbacks from ETMv4 driver to core layer.
The motivation is the core layer can control all components on an
activated path rather but not only managing tracer in ETMv4 driver.

The perf event layer will disable CoreSight PMU event 'cs_etm' when
hotplug off a CPU. That means a perf mode will be always converted to
disabled mode in CPU hotplug. Arm CoreSight CPU hotplug callbacks only
need to handle the Sysfs mode and ignore the perf mode.

Add a 'mode' argument to coresight_pm_get_active_path() so it only
returns active paths for the relevant mode. Define the enum with bit
flags so it is safe for bitwise operations.

Change CPUHP_AP_ARM_CORESIGHT_STARTING to CPUHP_AP_ARM_CORESIGHT_ONLINE
so that the CPU hotplug callback runs in the online state and thread
context, allowing coresight_disable_sysfs() to be called directly to
disable the path.

Leo Yan bf64b06ede coresight: sysfs: Increment refcount only for software source
Except for software sources (e.g. STM), other sources treat multiple
enables as equivalent to a single enable. The device mode already
tracks the binary state, so it is redundant to operate refcount.

Introduce a helper coresight_is_software_source() for check software
source. Refactor to maintain the refcount only for software sources.
This simplifies future CPU PM handling without refcount logic.

Leo Yan 4d8dd98ee5 coresight: Register CPU PM notifier in core layer
The current implementation only saves and restores the context for ETM
sources while ignoring the context of links. However, if funnels or
replicators on a linked path resides in a CPU or cluster power domain,
the hardware context for the link will be lost after resuming from low
power states.

To support context management for links during CPU low power modes, a
better way is to implement CPU PM callbacks in the Arm CoreSight core
layer. As the core layer has sufficient information for linked paths,
from tracers to links, which can be used for power management.

As a first step, this patch registers CPU PM notifier in the core layer.
If a source device provides callbacks for saving and restoring context,
these callbacks will be invoked in CPU suspend and resume.

The memory leak is caused by not freeing the device list that maintains
device indices.

This device list preserves stable device indices across unbind and
rebind device operations, so it does not share the same lifetime as a
device instances and must only be freed when the module is unloaded.

Some modules do not implement a module exit callback because they are
registered using module_platform_driver(). As a result, the device
list cannot be released during module exit for those modules.

Fix this by moving the device list into the core layer. As a general
solution, instead of maintaining a static list in each driver, drivers
now allocate device lists via coresight_allocate_device_list() and
device indices via coresight_allocate_device_idx().

The list is released only when the core module is unloaded by calling
coresight_release_device_list(), avoiding the leak.

Leo Yan fbe7514a79 coresight: Consolidate clock enabling
CoreSight drivers enable pclk and atclk conditionally. For example,
pclk is only enabled in the static probe, while atclk is an optional
clock that it is enabled for both dynamic and static probes, if it is
present. In the current CoreSight drivers, these two clocks are
initialized separately. This causes complex and duplicate codes.

CoreSight drivers are refined so that clocks are initialized in one go.
For this purpose, this commit renames coresight_get_enable_apb_pclk() to
coresight_get_enable_clocks() and encapsulates clock initialization
logic:

 - If a clock is initialized successfully, its clock pointer is assigned
   to the double pointer passed as an argument.
 - For ACPI devices, clocks are controlled by firmware, directly bail
   out.
 - Skip enabling pclk for an AMBA device.
 - If atclk is not found, the corresponding double pointer is set to
   NULL. The function returns Success (0) to guide callers can proceed
   with no error.
 - Otherwise, an error number is returned for failures.

The function became complex, move it from the header to the CoreSight
core layer and the symbol is exported. Added comments for recording
details.

Leo Yan 1abc1b212e coresight: Appropriately disable programming clocks
Some CoreSight components have programming clocks (pclk) and are enabled
using clk_get() and clk_prepare_enable(). However, in many cases, these
clocks are not disabled when modules exit and only released by clk_put().

To fix the issue, this commit refactors programming clock by replacing
clk_get() and clk_prepare_enable() with devm_clk_get_optional_enabled()
for enabling APB clock. If the "apb_pclk" clock is not found, a NULL
pointer is returned, and the function proceeds to attempt enabling the
"apb" clock.

Since ACPI platforms rely on firmware to manage clocks, returning a NULL
pointer in this case leaves clock management to the firmware rather than
the driver. This effectively avoids a clock imbalance issue during
module removal - where the clock could be disabled twice: once during
the ACPI runtime suspend and again during the devm resource release.

Callers are updated to reuse the returned error value.

With the change, programming clocks are managed as resources in driver
model layer, allowing clock cleanup to be handled automatically. As a
result, manual cleanup operations are no longer needed and are removed
from the Coresight drivers.

Tao Zhang ec9903d6cc coresight: Add support for trace filtering by source
Some replicators have hard coded filtering of "trace" data, based on the
source device. This is different from the trace filtering based on
TraceID, available in the standard programmable replicators. e.g.,
Qualcomm replicators have filtering based on custom trace protocol
format and is not programmable.

The source device could be connected to the replicator via intermediate
components (e.g., a funnel). Thus we need platform information from
the firmware tables to decide the source device corresponding to a
given output port from the replicator. Given this affects "trace
path building" and traversing the path back from the sink to source,
add the concept of "filtering by source" to the generic coresight
connection.

The specified source will be marked like below in the Devicetree.

James Clark de0029fdde coresight: Remove pending trace ID release mechanism
Pending the release of IDs was a way of managing concurrent sysfs and
Perf sessions in a single global ID map. Perf may have finished while
sysfs hadn't, and Perf shouldn't release the IDs in use by sysfs and
vice versa.

Now that Perf uses its own exclusive ID maps, pending release doesn't
result in any different behavior than just releasing all IDs when the
last Perf session finishes. As part of the per-sink trace ID change, we
would have still had to make the pending mechanism work on a per-sink
basis, due to the overlapping ID allocations, so instead of making that
more complicated, just remove it.

This will allow sessions with more than CORESIGHT_TRACE_IDS_MAX ETMs
as long as there are fewer than that many ETMs connected to each sink.

Each sink owns its own trace ID map, and any Perf session connecting to
that sink will allocate from it, even if the sink is currently in use by
other users. This is similar to the existing behavior where the dynamic
trace IDs are constant as long as there is any concurrent Perf session
active. It's not completely optimal because slightly more IDs will be
used than necessary, but the optimal solution involves tracking the PIDs
of each session and allocating ID maps based on the session owner. This
is difficult to do with the combination of per-thread and per-cpu modes
and some scheduling issues. The complexity of this isn't likely to worth
it because even with multiple users they'd just see a difference in the
ordering of ID allocations rather than hitting any limits (unless the
hardware does have too many ETMs connected to one sink).

James Clark d5e83f97eb coresight: Remove the 'enable' field.
'enable', which probably should have been 'enabled', is only ever read
in the core code in relation to controlling sources, and specifically
only sources in sysfs mode. Confusingly it's not labelled as such and
relying on it can be a source of bugs like the one fixed by
commit 078dbba3f0c9 ("coresight: Fix crash when Perf and sysfs modes are
used concurrently").

Most importantly, it can only be used when the coresight_mutex is held
which is only done when enabling and disabling paths in sysfs mode, and
not Perf mode. So to prevent its usage spreading and leaking out to
other devices, remove it.

It's use is equivalent to checking if the mode is currently sysfs, as
due to the coresight_mutex lock, mode == CS_MODE_SYSFS can only become
true or untrue when that lock is held, and when mode == CS_MODE_SYSFS
the device is both enabled and in sysfs mode.

The one place it was used outside of the core code is in TPDA, but that
pattern is more appropriately represented using refcounts inside the
device's own spinlock.

Most devices use mode, so move the mode definition out of the individual
devices and up to the Coresight device. This will allow the core code to
also know the mode which will be useful in a later commit.

This also fixes the inconsistency of the documentation of the mode field
on the individual device types. For example ETB10 had "this ETB is being
used".

Two devices didn't require an atomic mode type, so these usages have
been converted to atomic_get() and atomic_set() only to make it compile,
but the documentation of the field in struct coresight_device explains
this type of usage.

In the future, manipulation of the mode could be completely moved out of
the individual devices and into the core code because it's almost all
duplicate code, and this change is a step towards that.
