In function dump_xx_nlmsg(), when realloc() fails to allocate memory,
the original pointer to the buffer is overwritten with NULL. This causes
a memory leak because the previously allocated buffer becomes unreachable
without being freed.

The `readlink(path, buf, sizeof(buf))` call reads at most sizeof(buf)
bytes and *does not* append null-terminator to buf. With respect to
that, fix two pieces in get_fd_type:
1. Change the truncation check to contain sizeof(buf) rather than
sizeof(path).
2. Append null-terminator to buf.

This patch addresses the bpftool issue "Wrong callq address displayed"[0].
The issue stemmed from an incorrect program counter (PC) value used during
disassembly with LLVM or libbfd.
For LLVM: The PC argument must represent the actual address in the kernel
to compute the correct relative address.
For libbfd: The relative address can be adjusted by adding func_ksym within
the custom info->print_address_func to yield the correct address.

When netfilter has no entry to display, qsort is called with
qsort(NULL, 0, ...). This results in undefined behavior, as UBSan
reports:
net.c:827:2: runtime error: null pointer passed as argument 1, which is declared to never be null
Although the C standard does not explicitly state whether calling qsort
with a NULL pointer when the size is 0 constitutes undefined behavior,
Section 7.1.4 of the C standard (Use of library functions) mentions:
"Each of the following statements applies unless explicitly stated
otherwise in the detailed descriptions that follow: If an argument to a
function has an invalid value (such as a value outside the domain of
the function, or a pointer outside the address space of the program, or
a null pointer, or a pointer to non-modifiable storage when the
corresponding parameter is not const-qualified) or a type (after
promotion) not expected by a function with variable number of
arguments, the behavior is undefined."
To avoid this, add an early return when nf_link_info is NULL to prevent
calling qsort with a NULL pointer.

Replace shifts of '1' with '1U' in bitwise operations within
__show_dev_tc_bpf() to prevent undefined behavior caused by shifting
into the sign bit of a signed integer. By using '1U', the operations
are explicitly performed on unsigned integers, avoiding potential
integer overflow or sign-related issues.

When pinning programs/objects under PATH (eg: during "bpftool prog
loadall") the bpffs is mounted on the parent dir of PATH in the
following situations:
- the given dir exists but it is not bpffs.
- the given dir doesn't exist and the parent dir is not bpffs.
Mounting on the parent dir can also have the unintentional side-
effect of hiding other files located under the parent dir.
If the given dir exists but is not bpffs, then the bpffs should
be mounted on the given dir and not its parent dir.
Similarly, if the given dir doesn't exist and its parent dir is not
bpffs, then the given dir should be created and the bpffs should be
mounted on this new dir.

Tested with the latest upstream GCC which contains a new warning option
-Wcalloc-transposed-args. The first argument to calloc is documented to

This cast was made by purpose for older libbpf where the
bpf_object_skeleton field is void * instead of const void *
to eliminate a warning (as i understand
-Wincompatible-pointer-types-discards-qualifiers) but this
cast introduces another warning (-Wcast-qual) for libbpf
where data field is const void *
It makes sense for bpftool to be in sync with libbpf from
kernel sources

Add support to dump XDP link information to bpftool. This reuses the
recently added show_link_ifindex_{plain,json}(). The XDP link info only
exposes the ifindex.

Add support to dump tcx link information to bpftool. This adds a
common helper show_link_ifindex_{plain,json}() which can be reused
also for other link types. The plain text and json device output is
the same format as in bpftool net dump.

Add support to dump fd-based attach types via bpftool. This includes both
the tc BPF link and attach ops programs. Dumped information contain the
attach location, function entry name, program ID and link ID when applicable.

After using "__fallthrough;" in a switch/case block in bpftool's
btf_dumper.c [0], and then turning it into a comment [1] to prevent a
merge conflict in linux-next when the keyword was changed into just
"fallthrough;" [2], we can now drop the comment and use the new keyword,
no underscores.
Also update the other occurrence of "/* fallthrough */" in bpftool.

struct bpf_perf_event_value is being used in the kernel only when
CONFIG_BPF_EVENTS is enabled, so it misses a BTF entry then.
Define struct bpf_perf_event_value___local with the
`preserve_access_index` attribute inside the pid_iter BPF prog to
allow compiling on any configs. It is a full mirror of a UAPI
structure, so is compatible both with and w/o CO-RE.
bpf_perf_event_read_value() requires a pointer of the original type,
so a cast is needed.

In order to allow the BPF program in bpftool's pid_iter.bpf.c to compile
correctly on hosts where vmlinux.h does not define
BPF_LINK_TYPE_PERF_EVENT (running kernel versions lower than 5.15, for
example), define and use a local copy of the enum value. This requires
LLVM 12 or newer to build the BPF program.

Add ability to specify a network interface used to resolve XDP hints
kfuncs when loading program through bpftool.
Usage:
bpftool prog load [...] xdpmeta_dev <ifname>
Writing just 'dev <ifname>' instead of 'xdpmeta_dev' is a very probable
mistake that results in not very descriptive errors,
so 'bpftool prog load [...] dev <ifname>' syntax becomes deprecated,
followed by 'bpftool map create [...] dev <ifname>' for consistency.
Now, to offload program, execute:
bpftool prog load [...] offload_dev <ifname>
To offload map:
bpftool map create [...] offload_dev <ifname>
'dev <ifname>' still performs offloading in the commands above, but now
triggers a warning and is excluded from bash completion.
'xdpmeta_dev' and 'offload_dev' are mutually exclusive options, because
'xdpmeta_dev' basically makes a program device-bound without loading it
onto the said device. For now, offloaded programs cannot use XDP hints [0],
but if this changes, using 'offload_dev <ifname>' should cover this case.

The target_btf_id can help us understand which kernel function is
linked by a tracing prog. The target_btf_id and target_obj_id have
already been exposed to userspace, so we just need to show them.

On aarch64, "bpftool feature" reports an incorrect BPF JIT limit:

When using `bpftool map dump` with map_of_maps, it is usually
more convenient to show the inner map id instead of raw value.
We are changing the plain print behavior to show inner_map_id
instead of hex value, this would help with quick look up of
inner map with `bpftool map dump id <inner_map_id>`.
To avoid disrupting scripted behavior, we will add a new
`inner_map_id` field to json output instead of replacing value.

A new link type, BPF_LINK_TYPE_STRUCT_OPS, was added to attach
struct_ops to links. (226bc6ae64) It would be helpful for users to
know which map is associated with the link.
The assumption was that every link is associated with a BPF program, but
this does not hold true for struct_ops. It would be better to display
map_id instead of prog_id for struct_ops links. However, some tools may
rely on the old assumption and need a prog_id. The discussion on the
mailing list suggests that tools should parse JSON format. We will maintain
the existing JSON format by adding a map_id without removing prog_id. As
for plain text format, we will remove prog_id from the header line and add
a map_id for struct_ops links.

You can include an optional path after specifying the object name for the
'struct_ops register' subcommand.
Since the commit 226bc6ae64 ("Merge branch 'Transit between BPF TCP
congestion controls.'") has been accepted, it is now possible to create a
link for a struct_ops. This can be done by defining a struct_ops in
SEC(".struct_ops.link") to make libbpf returns a real link. If we don't pin
the links before leaving bpftool, they will disappear. To instruct bpftool
to pin the links in a directory with the names of the maps, we need to
provide the path of that directory.

After commit d6e6286a12 ("libbpf: disassociate section handler on explicit
bpf_program__set_type() call"), bpf_program__set_type() will force cleanup
the program's SEC() definition, this commit fixed the test helper but missed
the bpftool, which leads to bpftool prog autoattach broken as follows:
$ bpftool prog load spi-xfer-r1v1.o /sys/fs/bpf/test autoattach
Program spi_xfer_r1v1 does not support autoattach, falling back to pinning
This patch fix bpftool to set program type only if it differs.

In bpftool's bash completion file, function _bpftool_once_attr() is able
to process multiple arguments. There are a few locations where this
function is called multiple times in a row, each time for a single
argument; let's pass all arguments instead to minimize the number of
function calls required for the completion.

Add support for displaying opcodes or/and file references (filepath,
line and column numbers) when dumping the control flow graphs of loaded
BPF programs with bpftool.
The filepaths in the records are absolute. To avoid blocks on the graph
to get too wide, we truncate them when they get too long (but we always
keep the entire file name). In the unlikely case where the resulting
file name is ambiguous, it remains possible to get the full path with a
regular dump (no CFG).

When dumping a program, the keywords "opcodes" (for printing the raw
opcodes), "linum" (for displaying the filename, line number, column
number along with the source code), and "visual" (for generating the
control flow graph for translated programs) are mutually exclusive. But
there's no reason why they should be. Let's make it possible to pass
several of them at once. The "file FILE" option, which makes bpftool
output a binary image to a file, remains incompatible with the others.

We do not support JSON output for control flow graphs of programs with
bpftool. So far, requiring both the CFG and JSON output would result in
producing a null JSON object. It makes more sense to raise an error
directly when parsing command line arguments and options, so that users
know they won't get any output they might expect.
If JSON is required for the graph, we leave it to Graphviz instead:

We support dumping the control flow graph of loaded programs to the DOT
format with bpftool, but so far this feature wouldn't display the source
code lines available through BTF along with the eBPF bytecode. Let's add
support for these annotations, to make it easier to read the graph.
In prog.c, we move the call to dump_xlated_cfg() in order to pass and
use the full struct dump_data, instead of creating a minimal one in
draw_bb_node().
We pass the pointer to this struct down to dump_xlated_for_graph() in
xlated_dumper.c, where most of the logics is added. We deal with BTF
mostly like we do for plain or JSON output, except that we cannot use a
"nr_skip" value to skip a given number of linfo records (we don't
process the BPF instructions linearly, and apart from the root of the
graph we don't know how many records we should skip, so we just store
the last linfo and make sure the new one we find is different before
printing it).
When printing the source instructions to the label of a DOT graph node,
there are a few subtleties to address. We want some special newline
markers, and there are some characters that we must escape. To deal with
them, we introduce a new dedicated function btf_dump_linfo_dotlabel() in
btf_dumper.c. We'll reuse this function in a later commit to format the
filepath, line, and column references as well.

When dumping the control flow graphs for programs using the 16-byte long
load instruction, we need to skip the second part of this instruction
when looking for the next instruction to process. Otherwise, we end up
printing "BUG_ld_00" from the kernel disassembler in the CFG.

The documentation states that when line_info is available when dumping a
program, the source line will be displayed "by default". There is no
notion of "default" here: the line is always displayed if available,
there is no way currently to turn it off.
In the next sentence, the documentation states that if "linum" is used
on the command line, the relevant filename, line, and column will be
displayed "on top of the source line". This is incorrect, as they are
currently displayed on the right side of the source line (or on top of
the eBPF instruction, not the source).
This commit fixes the documentation to address these points.

RFC8259 ("The JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) Data Interchange
Format") only specifies \", \\, \/, \b, \f, \n, \r, and \r as valid
two-character escape sequences. This does not include \', which is not
required in JSON because it exclusively uses double quotes as string
separators.
Solidus (/) may be escaped, but does not have to. Only reverse
solidus (\), double quotes ("), and the control characters have to be
escaped. Therefore, with this fix, bpftool correctly supports all valid
two-character escape sequences (but still does not support characters
that require multi-character escape sequences).
Witout this fix, attempting to load a JSON file generated by bpftool
using Python 3.10.6's default json.load() may fail with the error
"Invalid \escape" if the file contains the invalid escaped single
quote (\').
