Commitf227e3ec3b("random32: update the net random state on interrupt and activity") broke compilation and was temporarily fixed by Linus in83bdc7275e("random32: remove net_rand_state from the latent entropy gcc plugin") by entirely moving net_rand_state out of the things handled by the latent_entropy GCC plugin. From what I understand when reading the plugin code, using the __latent_entropy attribute on a declaration was the wrong part and simply keeping the __latent_entropy attribute on the variable definition was the correct fix. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
