Since commit241d2fb56a("of: Make OF framebuffer device names unique"), as spotted by Frédéric Bonnard, the historical "of-display" device is gone: the updated logic creates "of-display.0" instead, then as many "of-display.N" as required. This means that offb no longer finds the expected device, which prevents the Debian Installer from setting up its interface, at least on ppc64el. Fix this by keeping "of-display" for the first device and "of-display.N" for subsequent devices. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
