[ Upstream commit8dd765a5d7] Using indirect pointers in an ioctl command argument means that the layout is architecture specific, in particular we can't use the same one from 32-bit compat tasks. The general recommendation is to have __u64 members and use u64_to_user_ptr() to access it from the kernel if we are unable to avoid the pointers altogether. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:

There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
