commit1e446fd058upstream. If a broken ucan device gets a message with the message length field set to 0, then the driver will loop for forever in ucan_read_bulk_callback(), hanging the system. If the length is 0, just skip the message and go on to the next one. This has been fixed in the kvaser_usb driver in the past in commit0c73772cd2("can: kvaser_usb: leaf: Fix potential infinite loop in command parsers"), so there must be some broken devices out there like this somewhere. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
