[ Upstream commite59ff2c49a] We don't disable VIRTIO_NET_F_GUEST_CSUM if XDP was set. This means we can receive partial csumed packets with metadata kept in the vnet_hdr. This may have several side effects: - It could be overridden by header adjustment, thus is might be not correct after XDP processing. - There's no way to pass such metadata information through XDP_REDIRECT to another driver. - XDP does not support checksum offload right now. So simply disable guest csum if possible in this the case of XDP. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
