[ Upstream commit7863c9f3d2] When receiving proposal msg in server, the fields v2_ext_offset/ eid_cnt/ism_gid_cnt in proposal msg are from the remote client and can not be fully trusted. Especially the field v2_ext_offset, once exceed the max value, there has the chance to access wrong address, and crash may happen. This patch checks the fields v2_ext_offset/eid_cnt/ism_gid_cnt before using them. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
