On Armada 7K/8K we need to explicitly enable the register clock. This clock is optional because not all the SoCs using this IP need it but at least for Armada 7K/8K it is actually mandatory. The change was done at xhci-plat level and not at a xhci-mvebu.c because, it is expected that other SoC would have this kind of constraint. The binding documentation is updating accordingly. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
