commit8ffba0171cupstream. The DONE_INT_MASK and ABORT_INT_MASK registers are shared by all DMA channels, and modifying them requires a read-modify-write sequence. Because this operation is not atomic, concurrent calls to dw_edma_v0_core_start() can introduce race conditions if two channels update these registers simultaneously. Add a spinlock to serialize access to these registers and prevent race conditions. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
