commit82e2c39f9eupstream. dp83869 internally uses a look-up table for mapping supported delays in nanoseconds to register values. When specific delays are defined in device-tree, phy_get_internal_delay does the lookup automatically returning an index. The default case wrongly assigns the nanoseconds value from the lookup table, resulting in numeric value 2000 applied to delay configuration register, rather than the expected index values 0-7 (7 for 2000). Ultimately this issue broke RX for 1Gbps links. Fix default delay configuration by assigning the intended index value directly. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
