The tables of contents in the generated Netlink docs include individual attribute definitions. This can make the contents exceedingly long and repeats a lot of what is on the rest of the pages. See for example: https://docs.kernel.org/networking/netlink_spec/tc.html Add a depth limit to the contents directive in generated .rst files to limit the contents depth to 3 levels. This reduces the contents to: - Family - Summary - Operations - op-one - op-two - ... - Definitions - struct-one - struct-two - enum-one - ... - Attribute sets - attrs-one - attrs-two - ... be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
