commite2a50c1f64upstream. With MAP_SHARED: recheck the i_size after taking the PT lock, to serialize against truncate with the PT lock. Delete the page from the pagecache if the i_size_read check fails. With MAP_PRIVATE: check the i_size after the PT lock before mapping anonymous memory or zeropages into the MAP_PRIVATE shmem mapping. A mostly irrelevant cleanup: like we do the delete_from_page_cache() pagecache removal after dropping the PT lock, the PT lock is a spinlock so drop it before the sleepable page lock. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
