attach_probe selftest fails on Debian-based distros with `failed to resolve full path for 'libc.so.6'`. The reason is that these distros embraced multiarch to the point where even for the "main" architecture they store libc in /lib/<triple>. This is configured in /etc/ld.so.conf and in theory it's possible to replicate the loader's parsing and processing logic in libbpf, however a much simpler solution is to just enumerate the known library paths. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
