[ Upstream commit154d1e7ad9] The commit 168316db3583("dax: assert that i_rwsem is held exclusive for writes") added lock assertions to ensure proper locking in DAX operations. However, these assertions trigger false-positive lockdep warnings since read lock is unnecessary on read-only filesystems(e.g., erofs). This patch skips the read lock assertion for read-only filesystems, eliminating the spurious warnings while maintaining the integrity checks for writable filesystems. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
