When tick is stopped also the timer base is_idle flag is set. When reentering timer_base_try_to_set_idle() with the tick stopped, there is no need to check whether the timer base needs to be set idle again. When a timer was enqueued in the meantime, this is already handled by the tick_nohz_next_event() call which was executed before tick_nohz_stop_tick(). Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
