[ Upstream commita48df51d23] The remote state is set to RPROC_DETACHED if the resource table is found in the memory. However, this can be wrong if the remote is not started, but firmware is still loaded in the memory. Use PM_GET_NODE_STATUS call to the firmware to request the state of the RPU node. If the RPU is actually out of reset and running, only then move the remote state to RPROC_DETACHED, otherwise keep the remote state to RPROC_OFFLINE. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
