[ Upstream commitbd6781c18c] The wait_event_interruptible_timeout() function returns 0 if the timeout elapsed, -ERESTARTSYS if it was interrupted by a signal, and the remaining jiffies otherwise if the condition evaluated to true before the timeout elapsed. Driver should have checked for zero return value instead of a positive value. MChan: Print a warning for -ERESTARTSYS. The close operation will proceed anyway when wait_event_interruptible_timeout() returns for any reason. Since we do the close no matter what, we should not return this error code to the caller. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
