commitc85e209b79upstream. MSTATUS[RXPEND] is only updated after the data transfer cycle started. This creates an issue when the I3C clock is slow, and the CPU is running fast enough that MSTATUS[RXPEND] may not be updated when the code reaches checking point. As a result, mandatory data can be missed. Add a wait for MSTATUS[COMPLETE] to ensure that all mandatory data is already in FIFO. It also works without mandatory data. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
