[ Upstream commit8327bd4fcb] With `CONFIG_TRACE_MMIO_ACCESS=y`, the `{read,write}{b,w,l,q}{_relaxed}()` mmio accessors unconditionally call `log_{post_}{read,write}_mmio()` helpers, which in turn call the ftrace ops for `rwmmio` trace events This adds a performance penalty per mmio accessor call, even when `rwmmio` events are disabled at runtime (~80% overhead on local measurement). Guard these with `tracepoint_enabled()`. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
