The delta velocity is defined as a piece-wise integration of acceleration data. The delta velocity represents the linear velocity change between two consecutive measurements and it is measured in m / s (meters per second). In order to track the total linear velocity change during a desired period of time, simply sum-up the delta velocity samples acquired during that time. IIO currently does not offer a suitable channel type for this type of measurements hence this patch adds it. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
