commit98f5f93225upstream. The leak was found when opening/closing a serial port a great number of time, increasing kmalloc-32 in slabinfo. Each time the port was opened, dma_request_slave_channel() was called. Then, in at_dma_xlate(), atslave was allocated with devm_kzalloc() and never freed. (Well, it was free at module unload, but that's not what we want). So, here, kzalloc is more suited for the job since it has to be freed in atc_free_chan_resources(). Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
