commit120931db07upstream. The UIP timeout is hardcoded to 10ms for all RTC reads, but in some contexts this might not be enough time. Add a timeout parameter to mc146818_get_time() and mc146818_get_time_callback(). If UIP timeout is configured by caller to be >=100 ms and a call takes this long, log a warning. Make all callers use 10ms to ensure no functional changes. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
