ftrace_caller was used for both ftrace_caller and ftrace_regs_caller, which means that the target address of the hotpatch trampoline was never updated. With commit894979689d("s390/ftrace: provide separate ftrace_caller/ftrace_regs_caller implementations") a separate ftrace_regs_caller entry point was implemeted, however it was forgotten to implement the necessary changes for ftrace_modify_call and ftrace_make_call, where the branch target has to be modified accordingly. Therefore add the missing code now. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
