[ Upstream commiteb97545d62] This fixes an issue added in commit4edd8cd4e8("scsi: core: sysfs: Fix hang when device state is set via sysfs") where if userspace is requesting to set the device state to SDEV_RUNNING when the state is already SDEV_RUNNING, we return -EINVAL instead of count. The commmit above set ret to count for this case, when it should have set it to 0. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
