commitc9aed03a0aupstream. Calling ->sync_write must be done while holding the PPM lock as the mailbox logic does not support concurrent commands. At least since the addition of partner task this means that ucsi_acknowledge_connector_change should be called with the PPM lock held as it calls ->sync_write. Thus protect the only call to ucsi_acknowledge_connector_change with the PPM. All other calls to ->sync_write already happen under the PPM lock. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
