commit4f6fdc6e1aupstream. Sashiko pointed out that get_guest_idal() unconditionally calculates the length of the IDAL presuming everything is a Format-2 IDAW. The output of vfio-ccw is always Format-2, but the input can be either Format-1 (31-bit addresses) or Format-2 (64-bit addresses). As a result, the size of the guest IDAL may be incorrect and should be trimmed down. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
