commit88dd117c92upstream. The prefix "DM_VERITY_ERR_BLOCK_NR" is 22 chars. Add '=', one digit for type, ',', up to 20 digits for a u64 block number, and a NUL terminator: that's 46 bytes. The buffer is 42 bytes. For block numbers >= 16 decimal digits (devices larger than ~16 EB with 4K blocks), snprintf silently truncates the uevent environment variable. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
