[ Upstream commit82bbe02b25] Make sure that n_channels is set after allocating the struct cfg80211_registered_device::int_scan_req member. Seen with syzkaller: UBSAN: array-index-out-of-bounds in net/mac80211/scan.c:1208:5 index 0 is out of range for type 'struct ieee80211_channel *[] __counted_by(n_channels)' (aka 'struct ieee80211_channel *[]') This was missed in the initial conversions because I failed to locate the allocation likely due to the "sizeof(void *)" not matching the "channels" array type. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
