083333f17f [Typed throws] Add upcoming feature FullTypedThrows
Introduce the upcoming feature `FullTypedThrows`. When enabled, infer
the error type of a `throw` statement based on its original type,
instead of always being `any Error`. This is technically a
source-breaking change, hence the upcoming feature flag.

6f1a774e7d [ModuleInterface] Always ignore export-as in private swiftinterfaces
Always print the real module name for references in private
swiftinterfaces, ignoring export-as declarations. Keep using the
export-as name for the public swiftinterface only.

The flag `ModuleInterfaceExportAs` used to enable this behavior and
we're removing it to make it the default.

322ada60c8 [Sema] Intro flag to default imports to internal, the Swift 6 mode
The feature InternalImportsByDefault makes imports default to internal instead
of public. Applying the Swift 6 behavior of SE-0409 in Swift 5.

Let's use only that flag to track the Swift 6 behavior as well instead
of separately checking for the language version.

95a7107872 [Concurrency] Allow default arguments to require actor isolation.
Type checking a default argument expression will compute the required
actor isolation for evaluating that argument value synchronously. Actor
isolation checking is deferred to the caller; it is an error to use a
default argument from across isolation domains.

Currently gated behind -enable-experimental-feature IsolatedDefaultArguments.

b4f536927a Disable destructuring initializations in struct let stored properties.
This looks like it was never properly implemented, since when we generate the
memberwise initializer for the struct in SILGen, it incorrectly tries to apply
the entire initializer expression to each variable binding in the pattern,
rather than destructuring the result and pattern-matching it to the variables.
Since it never worked it doesn't look like anyone is using this, so let's
put up an error saying it's unsupported until we can implement it properly.
Add `StructLetDestructuring` as an experimental feature flag so that tests around
the feature for things like module interface printing can still work.

51eed19d4b [Typed throws] Type system support for typed throws.
Add the thrown type into the AST representation of function types,
mapping from function type representations and declarations into the
appropriate thrown type. Add tests for serialization, printing, and
basic equivalence of function types that have thrown errors.

ef642098f2 [Typed throws] Parsing and AST representation for typed errors
Parse typed throw specifiers as `throws(X)` in every place where there
are effects specified, and record the resulting thrown error type in
the AST except the type system. This includes:
* `FunctionTypeRepr`, for the parsed representation of types
* `AbstractFunctionDecl`, for various function-like declarations
* `ClosureExpr`, for closures
* `ArrowExpr`, for parsing of types within expression context

This also introduces some serialization logic for the thrown error
type of function-like declarations, along with an API to extract the
thrown interface type from one of those declarations, although right
now it will either be `Error` or empty.

f1142d5da4 [nfc] rename or eliminate isPureMoveOnly APIs
I think from SIL's perspective, it should only worry about whether the
type is move-only. That includes MoveOnlyWrapped SILTypes and regular
types that cannot be copied.

Most of the code querying `SILType::isPureMoveOnly` is in SILGen, where
it's very likely that the original AST type is sitting around already.
In such cases, I think it's fine to ask the AST type if it is
noncopyable. The clarity of only asking the ASTType if it's noncopyable
is beneficial, I think.

c5314bd3af Centralize KeyPath accessor calling convention logic to IRGen
KeyPath's getter/setter/hash/equals functions have their own calling
convention, which receives generic arguments and embedded indices from a
given KeyPath argument buffer.
The convention was previously implemented by:
1. Accepting an argument buffer as an UnsafeRawPointer and casting it to
   indices tuple pointer in SIL.
2. Bind generic arguments info from the given argument buffer while emitting
   prologue in IRGen by creating a new forwarding thunk.

This 2-phase lowering approach was not ideal, as it blocked KeyPath
projection optimization [^1], and also required having a target arch
specific signature lowering logic in SIL-level [^2].

This patch centralizes the KeyPath accessor calling convention logic to
IRGen, by introducing `@convention(keypath_accessor_XXX)` convention in
SIL and lowering it in IRGen. This change unblocks the KeyPath projection
optimization while capturing subscript indices, and also makes it easier
to support WebAssembly target.

68ae729584 _Copyable as a Requirement Against the Machine
An initial implementation of a rework in how
we prevent noncopyable types from being
substituted in places they are not permitted.

Instead of generating a constraint for every
generic parameter in the solver, we produce
real Copyable conformance requirements. This
is much better for our longer-term goal of
supporting `~Copyable` in more places.

9b641f9ba3 ModuleInterface: Typecheck PatternBindingDecls lazily before printing.
Previously, fully qualified types would be missing for global vars and
properties in `.swiftinterface` files that were emitted lazily.

Adding the test case also revealed that PatternBindingDecls needed to be
typechecked before lazy module serialization as well.

Previously, `usesFeatureRethrowsProtocol()` could mistakenly return false in
lazy typechecking mode since the types in an inheritance clause might not have
been resolved yet.

e24f447eab AST: Resolve types when printing inheritance clauses.
Previously, a `.swiftinterface` emitted in lazy typechecking mode would fall
back on printing the `TypeRepr` of entries in the inheritance clause of a
declaration since inherited types could be unresolved.

0dd8f4c492 AST: Introduce abstraction for extension/type decl inheritance clauses.
Wrap the `InheritedEntry` array available on both `ExtensionDecl` and
`TypeDecl` in a new `InheritedTypes` class. This class will provide shared
conveniences for working with inherited type clauses. NFC.

6ee44f09b4 Introduce then statements
These allow multi-statement `if`/`switch` expression
branches that can produce a value at the end by
saying `then <expr>`. This is gated behind
`-enable-experimental-feature ThenStatements`
pending evolution discussion.

eadffd3c6c AST: Don't look at PatternBindingDecl in usesBuiltinType()
Type-checking patterns is not fully requestified, so the
ASTPrinter should not assume this has been filled in.

It appears sufficient to just visit the associated VarDecl,
as we do already.

011222da16 [AST] Fix source module correction logic to support @_spiOnly imports
This logic may override the module considered as the source of a decl to
ensure that only visible modules are printed in the swiftinterface. This
change updates it to consider @_spiOnly imported modules from the local
module as visible when printing the private swiftinterface only.

aee071bf4e Introduce an experimental @_rawLayout attribute.
This attribute can be attached to a noncopyable struct to specify that its
storage is raw, meaning the type definition is (with some limitations)
able to do as it pleases with the storage. This provides a basis for
implementing types for things like atomics, locks, and data structures
that use inline storage to store conditionally-initialized values.
The example in `test/Prototypes/UnfairLock.swift` demonstrates the use
of a raw layout type to wrap Darwin's `os_unfair_lock` APIs, allowing
a lock value to be stored inside of classes or other types without
needing a separate allocation, and using the borrow model to enforce
safe access to lock-guarded storage.
