986d155db7 [CapturePromotion] dealloc_box doesn't mutate.
The instruction only deallocates the box, it doesn't destroy its
contents. It's even less mutating than a `destroy_value`, which is
already regarded as non-mutating.

d92f181ace Create two versions (for caller and callee) of the functions that answer questions about parameter convention (#74124)
Create two versions of the following functions:

isConsumedParameter
isGuaranteedParameter
SILParameterInfo::isConsumed
SILParameterInfo::isGuaranteed
SILArgumentConvention::isOwnedConvention
SILArgumentConvention::isGuaranteedConvention

These changes will be needed when we add a new convention for
non-trivial C++ types as the functions will return different answers
depending on whether they are called for the caller or the callee. This
commit doesn't change any functionality.

1d961ba22d Add #include "swift/Basic/Assertions.h" to a lot of source files
Although I don't plan to bring over new assertions wholesale
into the current qualification branch, it's entirely possible
that various minor changes in main will use the new assertions;
having this basic support in the release branch will simplify that.
(This is why I'm adding the includes as a separate pass from
rewriting the individual assertions)

5ccc4cd394 SIL function can be serialized with different kinds: [serialized] or
[serialized_for_package] if Package CMO is enabled. The latter kind
allows a function to be serialized even if it contains loadable types,
if Package CMO is enabled. Renamed IsSerialized_t as SerializedKind_t.

The tri-state serialization kind requires validating inlinability
depending on the serialization kinds of callee vs caller; e.g. if the
callee is [serialized_for_package], the caller must be _not_ [serialized].
Renamed `hasValidLinkageForFragileInline` as `canBeInlinedIntoCaller`
that takes in its caller's SerializedKind as an argument. Another argument
`assumeFragileCaller` is also added to ensure that the calle sites of
this function know the caller is serialized unless it's called for SIL
inlining optimization passes.

The [serialized_for_package] attribute is allowed for SIL function, global var,
v-table, and witness-table.

acca7353db [transferring] Make async let take a transferring result if its result is non-Sendable.
Some notes:

1. If the result is non-Sendable and we didn't infer something that is
transferring, we still emit the current sema error that says that one cannot
assign a non-Sendable value to an async let.

2. When region isolation is enabled, but transferring args and results are
disabled, we leave the async let semantics alone. This means that the async let
closure is still @Sendable and one cannot pass in non-Sendable values to it.

3236bc26fa [region-isolation] Refactor out the stubify dead function if no longer used functionality from move only checker into its own pass and put it before region based isolation.
I am doing this since region based isolation hit the same issue that the move
checker did. So it makes sense to refactor the functionality into its own pass
and move it into a helper pass that runs before both.

It is very conservative and only stubifies functions that the specialization
passes explicitly mark as this being ok to be done to.

9c24933bd4 Fix compiler crashes with consuming and borrowing keywords.
Without this fix, the new 'consuming' and 'borrowing' keywords cannot
be used with trivial types. Which means, for example, they can't be
used in macro expansions that work on various types.

Fixes patterns like:

public func test1(i: consuming Int) -> Int {
  takeClosure { [i = copy i] in i }
}

public func test2(i: borrowing Int) -> Int {
  takeClosure { [i = copy i] in i }
}

public func test3(i: consuming Int) -> Int {
  takeClosure { i }
}

// Sadly, test4 is still incorrectly diagnosed.
public func test4(i: borrowing Int) -> Int {
  takeClosure { i }
}

Fixes rdar://112795074 (Crash compiling function that has a macro annotation and uses `consuming`)

fbf4c92bba Update the scope of SILBuilder in ClosureCloner.
This is something that every visit() function needs to do and these manual
overloads forgot to. I tried to come up with a more general solution, but due
the rather nested inheritance of SILCloner this turned out harde than expected.

Andy some time ago already created the new API but didn't go through and update

tree is clean, so I could just remove it, but I decided to be nicer to
downstream people by deprecating it first.

3b39af3c99 [capture-promotion] Add support for GEPs from captures that are load_borrowed.
We supported this code pattern previously just for loads and never implemented
the support for load_borrow. I just added analogous code for
load_borrow. Without this, we hit a crash since:

1. We would not process the struct_element_addr for a valid value.
2. The load_borrow would not look through the struct_element_addr, so we would
ask the cloner for the mapped value to the struct_element_addr... it was never
visited, thus never mapped, thus KABOOM.

6a020f8f15 Stabilize and simplify SIL linkage and serialization
The main point of this change is to make sure that a shared function always has a body: both, in the optimizer pipeline and in the swiftmodule file.
This is important because the compiler always needs to emit code for a shared function. Shared functions cannot be referenced from outside the module.
In several corner cases we missed to maintain this invariant which resulted in unresolved-symbol linker errors.

As side-effect of this change we can drop the shared_external SIL linkage and the IsSerializable flag, which simplifies the serialization and linkage concept.

d74299e68d [move-function] Add a new instruction called mark_unresolved_move_addr.
This instruction is similar to a copy_addr except that it marks a move of an
address that has to be checked. In order to keep the memory lifetime verifier
happy, the semantics before the checker runs are the mark_unresolved_move_addr is
equivalent to copy_addr [init] (not copy_addr [take][init]).

The use of this instruction is that Mandatory Inlining converts builtin "move"
to a mark_unresolved_move_addr when inlining the function "_move" (the only
place said builtin is invoked).

This is then run through a special checker (that is later in this PR) that
either proves that the mark_unresolved_move_addr can actually be a move in which
case it converts it to copy_addr [take][init] or if it can not be a move, emit
an error and convert the instruction to a copy_addr [init]. After this is done
for all instructions, we loop back through again and emit an error on any
mark_unresolved_move_addr that were not processed earlier allowing for us to
know that we have completeness.

NOTE: The move kills checker for addresses is going to run after Mandatory
Inlining, but before predictable memory opts and friends.

fdc0e08d60 SILGen: Emit literal closures at the abstraction level of their context.
Literal closures are only ever directly referenced in the context of the expression they're written in,
so it's wasteful to emit them at their fully-substituted calling convention and then reabstract them if
they're passed directly to a generic function. Avoid this by saving the abstraction pattern of the context
before emitting the closure, and then lowering its main entry point's calling convention at that
level of abstraction. Generalize some of the prolog/epilog code to handle converting arguments and returns
to the correct representation for a different abstraction level.

6ec788ff09 SIL: remove the SILOpenedArchetypesTracker
Instead, put the archetype->instrution map into SIlModule.

SILOpenedArchetypesTracker tried to maintain and reconstruct the mapping locally, e.g. during a use of SILBuilder.
Having a "global" map in SILModule makes the whole logic _much_ simpler.

I'm wondering why we didn't do this in the first place.

This requires that opened archetypes must be unique in a module - which makes sense. This was the case anyway, except for keypath accessors (which I fixed in the previous commit) and in some sil test files.

This only runs on OSSA now, so I am deleting the non-OSSA tests and put in an
early bail out since there are some tests that have not been updated yet for
OSSA, that run the diagnostic passes, but for which this pass never kicked in
on.

NOTE: I also while updating the tests noticed a bunch were assuming load_borrow
like semantics. So I updated them with that in mind and implemented support in
the pass for that.
