7ecb1fd1db [CSSimplify] Prevent missing call fix from recording fixes while matching types
We need to be very careful while matching types to test whether a
fix is applicable or not to avoid adding extraneous fixes and failing
the path early. This is a temporary workaround, the real fix would
be to let `matchTypes` to propagate `TMF_ApplyingFixes` down.

55b8d9538d [CSSimplify] Rework how/when mismatches between optional types are fixed
- Don't attempt to insert fixes if there are restrictions present, they'd inform the failures.

Inserting fixes too early doesn't help the solver because restriction matching logic would
  record the same fixes.

- Adjust impact of the fixes.

Optional conversions shouldn't impact the score in any way because
they are not the source of the issue.

- Look through one level of optional when failure is related to optional injection.

The diagnostic is going to be about underlying type, so there is no reason to print
  optional on right-hand side.

74a8ee177e [Diagnostics] Diagnose missing members via fixes
Try to fix constraint system in a way where member
reference is going to be defined in terms of its use,
which makes it seem like parameters match arguments
exactly. Such helps to produce solutions and diagnose
failures related to missing members precisely.

These changes would be further extended to diagnose use
of unavailable members and other structural member failures.

fb3515382c [Diagnostics] When checking AssignExpr properly diagnose destination
Currently if destination is unresolved instead of trying to re-typecheck
it again and diagnose structural problems which led to such outcome, it
gets completely ignored in favor of trying to type-check source without
contextual type. That leads to missed diagnostic opportunities, which
results in problems on AST verification and SIL generation stages, and
generally missleading errors e.g. `.x = 0`.

1909e83034 fix <rdar://problem/23798944> = vs. == in Swift if string character count statement causes segmentation fault
This is a really nasty problem where we'd explode trying to unify type variables
we found in the constraint graph, that didn't exist in the constraint system. This
happened because diagnostic generation is simplifying the system in
"ContinueAfterFailures" mode to try to get to a minimal system (to avoid
producing an error message about trivially solvable constraints that only
exist due to the solver stopping early) and in this mode we would see an
erroneous constraint, remove it from the constraint system, but not the
constraint graph. This only mattered in ContinueAfterFailures.

As with many things, the fix is pretty simple once the onion is peeled enough
to find the stinky part lurking inside.

b6de061dd6 Rework assignment diagnostics to be built in terms of contextual types,
where we type check the destination first, then apply its type to the source.

This allows us to get diagnostics for assignments that are as good as PBD
initializers and other cases.

3b04d1b013 tests: reorganize tests so that they actually use the target platform
Most tests were using %swift or similar substitutions, which did not
include the target triple and SDK. The driver was defaulting to the
host OS. Thus, we could not run the tests when the standard library was
not built for OS X.

2912159776 Improve diagnostics for expression typecheck errors
These changes make the following improvements to how we generate diagnostics for expression typecheck failure:
- Customizing a diagnostic for a specific expression kind is as easy as adding a new method to the FailureDiagnosis class,
and does not require intimate knowledge of the constraint solver’s inner workings.
    - As part of this patch, I’ve introduced specialized diagnostics for call, binop, unop, subscript, assignment and inout
expressions, but we can go pretty far with this.
    - This also opens up the possibility to customize diagnostics not just for the expression kind, but for the specific types
      involved as well.
- For the purpose of presenting accurate type info, partially-specialized subexpressions are individually re-typechecked
free of any contextual types. This allows us to:
    - Properly surface subexpression errors.
    - Almost completely avoid any type variables in our diagnostics. In cases where they could not be eliminated, we now
      substitute in "_".
    - More accurately indicate the sources of errors.
- We do a much better job of diagnosing disjunction failures. (So no more nonsensical ‘UInt8’ error messages.)
- We now present reasonable error messages for overload resolution failures, informing the user of partially-matching
  parameter lists when possible.

At the very least, these changes address the following bugs:

1224ff5b8e Extend the constraint-based type checker to support assignment
statements. The approach is fairly simple: generate constraints for
both the destination and source expressions, then turn the destination
type into a type containing only rvalues and convert the source
expression to that type.
