788abd0b96 [silgen] Use Builtin.ImplicitActor instead of Optional<any Actor> to represent the implicit isolated parameter.
NOTE: We are not performing any bitmasking at all now. This is so that we can
transition the code base/tests to expect Builtin.ImplicitActor instead
of Optional<any Actor>.

NOTE: The actual test changes are in the next commit. I did this to make it
easier to review the changes.

This should not have any user visible changes.

da49663079 ManualOwnership: avoid implicit SILMoveOnlyWrappedType's
These wrappers are detected by the move checking passes,
to support the implicit no-implicit-copy check for
parameters with ownership specifiers.

ManualOwnership already does this kind of checking, and the
two passes can interfere with each other, such as intercepting
diagnostics that are meant to be emitted by ManualOwnership.

46be95847b Extract TypeLowering's recursive type properties into a header, add
functions to compute them directly without a TypeLowering object, and
change a lot of getTypeLowering call sites to just use that.

There is one subtle change here that I think is okay: SILBuilder used to
use different TypeExpansionContexts when inserting into a global:
- getTypeLowering() always used a minimal context when inserting into
  a global
- getTypeExpansionContext() always returned a maximal context for the
  module scope
The latter seems more correct, as AFAIK global initializers are never
inlinable. If they are, we probably need to configure the builder with
an actual context properly rather than making global assumptions.

This is incremental progress towards computing this for most types
without a TypeLowering, and hopefully eventually removing TL entirely.

bc4cf1236b [SIL] Generalize CastingIsolatedConformances to CheckedCastInstOptions
We are going to need to add more flags to the various checked cast
instructions. Generalize the CastingIsolatedConformances bit in all of
these SIL instructions to an "options" struct that's easier to extend.

e0b52cd20e [SIL] Extend checked-cast instructions with "prohibit isolated conformances" flag
When performing a dynamic cast to an existential type that satisfies
(Metatype)Sendable, it is unsafe to allow isolated conformances of any
kind to satisfy protocol requirements for the existential. Identify
these cases and mark the corresponding cast instructions with a new flag,
`[prohibit_isolated_conformances]` that will be used to indicate to the
runtime that isolated conformances need to be rejected.

da813458a6 SILGen: Emit an addressable representation for immutable bindings on demand.
To ensure that dependent values have a persistent-enough memory representation
to point into, when an immutable binding is referenced as an addressable
argument to a call, have SILGen retroactively emit a stack allocation and
materialization that covers the binding's scope.

b2a4f7e3cc [sil] Add to SIL and SILGen the ability to emit/represent implicit parameters.
I need this today to add the implicit isolated parameter... but I can imagine us
adding more implicit parameters in the future, so it makes sense to formalize it
so it is easier to do in the future.

42bc49d3fe Add a new parameter convention @in_cxx for non-trivial C++ classes that are passed indirectly and destructed by the caller (#73019)
This corresponds to the parameter-passing convention of the Itanium C++
ABI, in which the argument is passed indirectly and possibly modified,
but not destroyed, by the callee.

@in_cxx is handled the same way as @in in callers and @in_guaranteed in
callees. OwnershipModelEliminator emits the call to destroy_addr that is
needed to destroy the argument in the caller.

1d961ba22d Add #include "swift/Basic/Assertions.h" to a lot of source files
Although I don't plan to bring over new assertions wholesale
into the current qualification branch, it's entirely possible
that various minor changes in main will use the new assertions;
having this basic support in the release branch will simplify that.
(This is why I'm adding the includes as a separate pass from
rewriting the individual assertions)

e90a7e6226 SILGen: Fixes for consuming noncopyable optional chaining.
Use the lvalue mechanism to build opaque formal accesses so that they
nest properly with writebacks. Don't put a cleanup on the lvalue because
that creates a double destroy. Fixes rdar://124362085.

69513f307b SILGen: Produce move_values with a fresh cleanup.
If the value being moved was a trivial value of a nontrivial type (like nil
for Optional<T>) then the lifetime checker would complain that there was
no `destroy_value` ending the consumed value's lifetime. Partial fix
for #71608.

d75a62ce64 SIL: Enclose switch subjects in a new begin_borrow [fixed] variant.
We want to preserve the borrow scope during switch dispatch so that move-only
checking doesn't try to analyze destructures or consumes out of it. SILGen
should mark anywhere that's a potential possibility with its own marker so that
it gets borrow checked independently.

0365c6abba MoveOnlyAddressUtils: Fixes for borrowing switch over address-only types.
Relax some existing pattern matches and add some unhandled instructions to the
walkers so that borrowing switches over address-only enums are properly analyzed
for incorrect consumption. Add a `[strict]` flag to `mark_unresolved_move_only_value`
to indicate a borrow access that should remain a borrow access even if the subject
is later stack-promoted from a box.

da3f583492 Add mark_dependence [unresolved]
In preparation for inserting mark_dependence instructions for lifetime
dependencies early, immediately after SILGen. That will simplify the
implementation of borrowed arguments.

Marking them unresolved is needed to make OSSA verification
conservative until lifetime dependence diagnostics runs.

107475b224 SILType: Avoid asking ASTType if it is Noncopyable
It's better to ask SILType if it is MoveOnly than go to the AST type and
ask if it is noncopyable, because some types in SIL do not have a
well-defined notion of conformance in the AST.

264cbaea42 Add mark_dependence [nonescaping] flag.
The dependent 'value' may be marked 'nonescaping', which guarantees that the
lifetime dependence is statically enforceable. In this case, the compiler
must be able to follow all values forwarded from the dependent 'value', and
recognize all final (non-forwarded, non-escaping) use points. This implies
that `findPointerEscape` is false. A diagnostic pass checks that the
incoming SIL to verify that these use points are all initially within the
'base' lifetime. Regular 'mark_dependence' semantics ensure that
optimizations cannot violate the lifetime dependence after diagnostics.

98acb40d99 [SIL] Addr-only enums have non-none ownership.
Values produced by address-only `enum` instructions have non-none
ownership. And because `enum` is representation-changing, they have
`owned` ownership.

This corresponds at the opaque values SIL stage to the fact that at the
address-lowered SIL stage the storage location has non-trivial
initialization which must be `destroy_addr`d, regardless of whether an
empty case was stored to it.

f1142d5da4 [nfc] rename or eliminate isPureMoveOnly APIs
I think from SIL's perspective, it should only worry about whether the
type is move-only. That includes MoveOnlyWrapped SILTypes and regular
types that cannot be copied.

Most of the code querying `SILType::isPureMoveOnly` is in SILGen, where
it's very likely that the original AST type is sitting around already.
In such cases, I think it's fine to ask the AST type if it is
noncopyable. The clarity of only asking the ASTType if it's noncopyable
is beneficial, I think.

37d60a08bb [move-only] Rename mark_must_check -> mark_unresolved_non_copyable_value.
I was originally hoping to reuse mark_must_check for multiple types of checkers.
In practice, this is not what happened... so giving it a name specifically to do
with non copyable types makes more sense and makes the code clearer.

Just a pure rename.

e5d87f75a8 [SIL] Add source formal type to checked_cast_br.
It is necessary for opaque values where for casts that will newly start
out as checked_cast_brs and be lowered to checked_cast_addr_brs, since
the latter has the source formal type, IRGen relies on being able to
access it, and there's no way in general to obtain the source formal
type from the source lowered type.
