9e13779702 [ownership] Remove most -enable-sil-ownership from SILGen now that %target-swift-emit-silgen does it automatically.
I did this using a sed pattern and verified by hand that I was only touching
target-swift-emit-silgen lines.

560c22b18e [tests] Verify the libSyntax tree on SILGen tests
The SILGen testsuite consists of valid Swift code covering most language
features. We use these tests to verify that no unknown nodes are in the
file's libSyntax tree. That way we will (hopefully) catch any future
changes or additions to the language which are not implemented in
libSyntax.

Now ~32% of the SILGen tests run with the ownership verifier enabled.

c37751ae96 [noescape by defaul] make noescape the default
This flips the switch to have @noescape be the default semantics for
function types in argument positions, for everything except property
setters. Property setters are naturally escaping, so they keep their
escaping-by-default behavior.

Adds contentual printing, and updates the test cases.

There is some further (non-source-breaking) work to be done for
SE-0103:

- We need the withoutActuallyEscaping function
- Improve diagnostics and QoI to at least @noescape's standards
- Deprecate / drop @noescape, right now we allow it
- Update internal code completion printing to be contextual
- Add more tests to explore tricky corner cases
- Small regressions in fixits in attr/attr_availability.swift

a6dad0091b [SE-0095] Initial parsing implementation for '&' composition syntax
This commit defines the ‘Any’ keyword, implements parsing for composing
types with an infix ‘&’, and provides a fixit to convert ‘protocol<>’

- Updated tests & stdlib for new composition syntax
- Provide errors when compositions used in inheritance.
Any is treated as a contextual keyword. The name ‘Any’
is used emit the empty composition type. We have to
stop user declaring top level types spelled ‘Any’ too.

cb3ddc2200 SIL: Fix type lowering to correctly handle concrete same-type constraints
When a dependent type is mapped into context, the result will either be
an archetype or a concrete type. The latter occurs if a same-type
constraint exists between the dependent type and the concrete type.

The logic to decide if a type should be passed directly or indirectly
was not handling this case if an interface type was passed down -- we
would just check if there was a class constraint present.

This resulted in mismatching conventions between an interface type and
its corresponding contextual type, which would trigger assertions.

Note that same-type constraints between generic parameters and concrete
types are still not supported for other reasons; the subject of the
constraint must still be an associated type of a generic parameter.

Fixes <rdar://problem/24687460>.

984fcef576 Produce an error for generic parameters of functions if those parameters are not used in function signature.
If a generic parameter is not referred to from a function signature, it can never be inferred and thus such a function can never be invoked.

We now produce the following error:

generic parameter 'T' is not used in function signature
func f8<T> (x: Int) {}

This commit takes Jordan't comments on r28181 into account:
- it produces a shorter error message
- it does not change the compiler_crashers_fixed test and add a new expected error instead

3b04d1b013 tests: reorganize tests so that they actually use the target platform
Most tests were using %swift or similar substitutions, which did not
include the target triple and SDK. The driver was defaulting to the
host OS. Thus, we could not run the tests when the standard library was
not built for OS X.

f23a2130c7 Give SILFunctionTypes parallel generic signature and interface types.
For now, derive the generic signature from the contextual generic parameter list, so we can incrementally move producers and consumers of SILFunctionTypes to the new model independently. We derive the generic signature, but we can't yet derive the interface parameter and result types in all cases due to bugs in how we lower nested generic SILFunctionTypes. NFC yet.
