ba4081ee76 Optimizer: replace PredictableMemoryAccessOptimizations with MandatoryRedundantLoadElimination in the pass pipeline
PredictableMemoryAccessOptimizations has become unmaintainable as-is.
RedundantLoadElimination does (almost) the same thing as PredictableMemoryAccessOptimizations.
It's not as powerful but good enough because PredictableMemoryAccessOptimizations is actually only needed for promoting integer values for mandatory constant propagation.
And most importantly: RedundantLoadElimination does not insert additional copies which was a big problem in PredictableMemoryAccessOptimizations.

7cceaff5f3 SIL: don't print operand types in textual SIL
Type annotations for instruction operands are omitted, e.g.

```
  %3 = struct $S(%1, %2)
```

Operand types are redundant anyway and were only used for sanity checking in the SIL parser.

But: operand types _are_ printed if the definition of the operand value was not printed yet.
This happens:

* if the block with the definition appears after the block where the operand's instruction is located

* if a block or instruction is printed in isolation, e.g. in a debugger

The old behavior can be restored with `-Xllvm -sil-print-types`.
This option is added to many existing test files which check for operand types in their check-lines.

5bc036661c SIL optimizer: add the LetPropertyLowering pass
It lowers let property accesses of classes.
Lowering consists of two tasks:

* In class initializers, insert `end_init_let_ref` instructions at places where all let-fields are initialized.
  This strictly separates the life-range of the class into a region where let fields are still written during
  initialization and a region where let fields are truly immutable.

* Add the `[immutable]` flag to all `ref_element_addr` instructions (for let-fields) which are in the "immutable"
  region. This includes the region after an inserted `end_init_let_ref` in an class initializer, but also all
  let-field accesses in other functions than the initializer and the destructor.

This pass should run after DefiniteInitialization but before RawSILInstLowering (because it relies on `mark_uninitialized` still present in the class initializer).
Note that it's not mandatory to run this pass. If it doesn't run, SIL is still correct.

Simplified example (after lowering):

  bb0(%0 : @owned C):                           // = self of the class initializer
    %1 = mark_uninitialized %0
    %2 = ref_element_addr %1, #C.l              // a let-field
    store %init_value to %2
    %3 = end_init_let_ref %1                    // inserted by lowering
    %4 = ref_element_addr [immutable] %3, #C.l  // set to immutable by lowering
    %5 = load %4

63808be395 DefinitInitialization: convert begin_access instructions of initializations to a static accesses
In case of `var` initializations, SILGen creates a dynamic begin/end_access pair around the initialization store.
If it's an initialization (and not a re-assign) it's guanranteed that it's an exlusive access and we can convert the access to an `[init] [static]` access.

d25b1ed834 Optimizer: Replace the MandatoryCombine pass with a Simplification pass, which is implemented in Swift
The Swift Simplification pass can do more than the old MandatoryCombine pass: simplification of more instruction types and dead code elimination.
The result is a better -Onone performance while still keeping debug info consistent.

Currently following code patterns are simplified:
* `struct` -> `struct_extract`
* `enum` -> `unchecked_enum_data`
* `partial_apply` -> `apply`
* `br` to a 1:1 related block
* `cond_br` with a constant condition
* `isConcrete` and `is_same_metadata` builtins

More simplifications can be added in the future.

259d2bb182 [ownership] Commit a generic replaceAllUsesAndEraseFixingOwnership api and enable SimplifyInstruction on OSSA.
This is a generic API that when ownership is enabled allows one to replace all
uses of a value with a value with a differing ownership by transforming/lifetime
extending as appropriate.

This API supports all pairings of ownership /except/ replacing a value with
OwnershipKind::None with a value without OwnershipKind::None. This is a more
complex optimization that we do not support today. As a result, we include on
our state struct a helper routine that callers can use to know if the two values
that they want to process can be handled by the algorithm.

My moticiation is to use this to to update InstSimplify and SILCombiner in a
less bug prone way rather than just turn stuff off.

Noting that this transformation inserts ownership instructions, I have made sure
to test this API in two ways:

1. With Mandatory Combiner alone (to make sure it works period).

2. With Mandatory Combiner + Semantic ARC Opts to make sure that we can
   eliminate the extra ownership instructions it inserts.

As one can see from the tests, the optimizer today is able to handle all of
these transforms except one conditional case where I need to eliminate a dead
phi arg. I have a separate branch that hits that today but I have exposed unsafe
behavior in ClosureLifetimeFixup that I need to fix first before I can land
that. I don't want that to stop this PR since I think the current low level ARC
optimizer may be able to help me here since this is a simple transform it does
all of the time.

9c46b2a053 Fix block merging after inlining to help avoid quadratic inlining.
A recent SILCloner rewrite removed a special case hack for single
basic block callee functions:

commit c6865c0dff
Merge: 76e6c4157e 9e440d13a6
Author: Andrew Trick <atrick@apple.com>
Date:   Thu Oct 11 14:23:32 2018

    Merge pull request #19786 from atrick/silcloner-cleanup

    SILCloner and SILInliner rewrite.

Instead, the new inliner simply merges trivial unconditional branches
after inlining the return block. This way, the CFG is always in
canonical state after inlining. This is more robust, and avoids
interfering with subsequent SIL passes when non-single-block callees
are inlined.

The problem is that inlining a series of calls within a large block
could result in interleaved block splitting and merging operations,
which is quadratic in the block size. This showed up when inlining the
tens of thousands of array subscript calls emitted for a large array
initialization.

The first half of the fix is to simply defer block merging until all
calls are inlined. We can't expect SimplifyCFG to run immediately
after inlining, nor would we want to do that, *especially* for
mandatory inlining. This fix instead exposes block merging as a
trivial utility.

Note: by eliminating some unconditional branches, this change could
reduce the number of debug locations emitted. This does not
fundamentally change any debug information guarantee, and I was unable
to observe any behavior difference in the debugger.

1e88e44ce8 Add critical edge verification and fix SIL passes.
SIL passes were violating the existing invariant on non-cond-br
critical edges in several places. I fixed the places that I could
find. Wherever there was a post-pass to "clean up" critical edges, I
replaced it with a a call to verification that the critical edges
aren't broken in the first place.

We still need to eliminate critical edges entirely before enabling
ownership SIL.

e74367f2b3 [pred-memopt] Only promote destroy_addr if we know that otherwise the allocation is dead.
Previously, we just always promoted destroy_addr. With ownership, this does not
work as well since we need to be able to reason about the take operation that we
are performing. In the general case, this would require adding code to
pred-memopts for tracking reads and for compensation store code since we would
need to eliminate the store of the taken value to prevent a double use.

I am going to loop back around later in the year and add back this code once the
time is available. I filed SR-6341. In case any third party contributor is
interested in looking at re-enabling this optimization before I get back to it.

c69686f102 DI: Use new 'self initialized' analysis in conditional destroy lowering
This changes code generation a bit, because now the conditional
state bitmap uses a bit to track if the 'self' box was stored,
not if the 'self' value was consumed. In some cases, this
eliminates an extra bit, in other places it introduces an
extra bit, but it really doesn't matter because LLVM will
optimize this bit manipulation easily.

4dacf68848 [silgen] Make sure that we do not disable ownership along failure paths when performing select enum checks.
What is happening here is that we are performing a select_enum check and then
not emitting the cleanup on the path where we know that our optional value is
null. To express such an operation in semantic sil, one should use a switch_enum
instead. Thus we must insert the destroy_value so that we know that the optional
value is balanced along all paths.
