This is actually two separate problems:
- 'override' wasn't getting added to initializers in deserialization
- 'override' was getting added when inheriting a 'required' initializer,
even though it's normally an error to write that
Needed for parseable interfaces.
...and fix places where it was being used inappropriately.
- Don't use 'open' on non-class members in the importer.
- Use the existing 'copyFormalAccessFrom' instead of an ad hoc version
for synthesized typealiases for protocol conformances. (This can
change 'internal' down to 'fileprivate', but only where the
enclosing type was already 'private' or 'fileprivate'.)
- Fix 'copyFormalAccessFrom' to not copy '@usableFromInline' onto
declarations that don't support it (namely, the above typealiases).
This should have no visible effect in practice.
There was a ton of complicated logic here to work around
two problems:
- Same-type constraints were not represented properly in
RequirementReprs, requiring us to store them in strong form
and parse them out when printing type interfaces.
- The TypeBase::getAllGenericArgs() method did not do the
right thing for members of protocols and protocol extensions,
and so instead of simple calls to Type::subst(), we had
an elaborate 'ArchetypeTransformer' abstraction repeated
in two places.
Rewrite this code to use GenericSignatures and
GenericFunctionType instead of old-school GenericParamLists
and PolymorphicFunctionType.
This changes the code completion and AST printer output
slightly. A few of the changes are actually fixes for cases
where the old code didn't handle substitutions properly.
A few others are subjective, for example a generic parameter
list of the form <T : Proto> now prints as <T where T : Proto>.
We can add heuristics to make the output whatever we want
here; the important thing is that now we're using modern
abstractions.

More detail: some members are intended to have the same the access as
their containing types. This doesn't fly for SE-0025 'private', which
would limit the members to only being accessed from lexically within
the type decl, instead anywhere the type itself can be seen. Instead,
follow the rule for user-written members---internal by default---and
then raise the access level to 'public' if necessary. This affects:
- enum cases
- deinitializers
- protocol requirements
- generic parameters
- implicit initializers
- inherited initializers
- derived conformance members
- synthesized typealiases for associated types
'fileprivate' is considered a broader level of access than 'private',
but for now both of them are still available to the entire file. This
is intended as a migration aid.
One interesting fallout of the "access scope" model described in
758cf64 is that something declared 'private' at file scope is actually
treated as 'fileprivate' for diagnostic purposes. This is something
we can fix later, once the full model is in place. (It's not really
/wrong/ in that they have identical behavior, but diagnostics still
shouldn't refer to a type explicitly declared 'private' as
'fileprivate'.)
As a note, ValueDecl::getEffectiveAccess will always return 'FilePrivate'
rather than 'Private'; for purposes of optimization and code generation,
we should never try to distinguish these two cases.
This should have essentially no effect on code that's /not/ using
'fileprivate' other than altered diagnostics.
Progress on SE-0025 ('fileprivate' and 'private')
Now that we're equipped to check the access level properly, taking
parent scopes into account, flip the switch as specified by SE-0025:
the default access level everywhere is 'internal'.
The one exception is constrained extensions, as described in 306eddab.
I haven't thought through whether these are safe or not, so for now
I'm leaving the logic conservative. If it turns out to be safe I'll
consider it a bug fix.
Part of SE-0025 ('fileprivate' and 'private').
Right now 'fileprivate' is parsed as an alias for 'private' (or
perhaps vice versa, since the semantics of 'private' haven't changed
yet). This allows us to migrate code to 'fileprivate' without waiting
for the full implementation.
Adds an associatedtype keyword to the parser tokens, and accepts either
typealias or associatedtype to create an AssociatedTypeDecl, warning
that the former is deprecated. The ASTPrinter now emits associatedtype
for AssociatedTypeDecls.
Separated AssociatedType from TypeAlias as two different kinds of
CodeCompletionDeclKinds. This part probably doesn’t turn out to be
absolutely necessary currently, but it is nice cleanup from formerly
specifically glomming the two together.
And then many, many changes to tests. The actual new tests for the fixits
is at the end of Generics/associated_types.swift.
An extension of a public type whose requirements mention a private type
should have members that default to being private.
The next commit adds the enforcement for this.

If a non-static 'let' field in a struct has an initializer, its implicitly generated
memberwise initializer should not override that. Handle this by having the memberwise initializer
and default initializer use the initial value of the property instead of an argument to the init.
This would have been a lot easier if sema was synthesizing the ctor bodies instead of SILGen,
but here it is. The missing case is narrow (let (x,y) = (1,2)) and for now we just disable
implicit synthesization of the incorrect case.

Most tests were using %swift or similar substitutions, which did not
include the target triple and SDK. The driver was defaulting to the
host OS. Thus, we could not run the tests when the standard library was
not built for OS X.
