edb08dabd5 GenericSpecializer: fix the function convention if specialization removes the self parameter of a method
When dropping the self metatype parameter of a method, it must become a "thin" function.

Fixes a crash when using performance annotations.

a6a75f066b GenericSpecializer: fix a crash with -cross-module-optimization

69e4b95fb8 SIL: Model noescape partial_applys with ownership in OSSA.
Although nonescaping closures are representationally trivial pointers to their
on-stack context, it is useful to model them as borrowing their captures, which
allows for checking correct use of move-only values across the closure, and
lets us model the lifetime dependence between a closure and its captures without
an ad-hoc web of `mark_dependence` instructions.

During ownership elimination, We eliminate copy/destroy_value instructions and
end the partial_apply's lifetime with an explicit dealloc_stack as before,
for compatibility with existing IRGen and non-OSSA aware passes.

d25a8aec8b Add explicit lowering for value packs and pack expansions.
- SILPackType carries whether the elements are stored directly
in the pack, which we're not currently using in the lowering,
but it's probably something we'll want in the final ABI.
Having this also makes it clear that we're doing the right
thing with substitution and element lowering. I also toyed
with making this a scalar type, which made it necessary in
various places, although eventually I pulled back to the
design where we always use packs as addresses.

- Pack boundaries are a core ABI concept, so the lowering has
to wrap parameter pack expansions up as packs. There are huge
unimplemented holes here where the abstraction pattern will
need to tell us how many elements to gather into the pack,
but a naive approach is good enough to get things off the
  ground.

- Pack conventions are related to the existing parameter and
result conventions, but they're different on enough grounds
that they deserve to be separated.

`map` -> `transform`

The old API will be deprecated in the rebranch.
To avoid merge conflicts, use the new API already in the main branch.

bfd865b6b6 [ApplySite] Renamed insertAfterApplication.
Now that it can be called on partial_apply instructions,
insertAfterFullEvaluation does not name what the function does. One
could imagine a function which inserted after the applies of
(non-escaping) partial_applies.

1e6187c4f4 [sil] Update all usages of old API SILValue::getOwnershipKind() in favor of new ValueBase::getOwnershipKind().
Andy some time ago already created the new API but didn't go through and update

tree is clean, so I could just remove it, but I decided to be nicer to
downstream people by deprecating it first.

6a020f8f15 Stabilize and simplify SIL linkage and serialization
The main point of this change is to make sure that a shared function always has a body: both, in the optimizer pipeline and in the swiftmodule file.
This is important because the compiler always needs to emit code for a shared function. Shared functions cannot be referenced from outside the module.
In several corner cases we missed to maintain this invariant which resulted in unresolved-symbol linker errors.

As side-effect of this change we can drop the shared_external SIL linkage and the IsSerializable flag, which simplifies the serialization and linkage concept.

7ccc41a7b7 SIL: Preliminary support for 'apply [noasync]' calls
Refactor SILGen's ApplyOptions into an OptionSet, add a
DoesNotAwait flag to go with DoesNotThrow, and sink it
all down into SILInstruction.h.

Then, replace the isNonThrowing() flag in ApplyInst and
BeginApplyInst with getApplyOptions(), and plumb it
through to TryApplyInst as well.

Set the flag when SILGen emits a sync call to a reasync
function.

When set, this disables the SIL verifier check against
calling async functions from sync functions.

Finally, this allows us to add end-to-end tests for

9e43f493f3 GenericSpecializer: use an alternative mangling if the function has re-abstracted resilient type parameters.
If the specialized function has a re-abstracted (= converted from indirect to direct) resilient argument or return types, use an alternative mangling: "TB" instead of "Tg".
Resilient parameters/returns can be converted from indirect to direct if the specialization is created within the type's resilience domain, i.e. in its module (where the type is loadable).
In this case we need to generate a different mangled name for the specialized function to distinguish it from specializations in other modules, which cannot re-abstract this resilient type.

This fixes a miscompile resulting from ODR-linking specializations from different modules, which in fact have different function signatures.
