ARMv7 seems to default to unsigned chars, so the checks should look more
like other platforms that prefer unsigned chars (like PowerPC64). Seems
that iOS prefers to have a common signedness with other Darwin platforms
and have signed chars.
Introduce a new check prefix which include the SDK name (the OS is quite
wildly in the case of Linux and Android), and differentiate the ARMv7
using the SDK. I'm confident about the Android tests. I only find three
other ARMv7 platfoms: iOS, which keeps the previous tests; and Linux and
Windows, which should also follow the unsigned char version.
Introduce and use the new `%target-abi` and `%target-import-type`
subsitutions in the IRGen tests. The former allows us to differentiate
between the Windows and SysV ABI differences and the latter for the
indirected import semantics required by PE/COFF. This makes all the
IRGen tests succeed on Windows.
Validation of the input side of FunctionTypeRepr was previously being done in Sema because of expression folding. If we instead push the invariant that the input TypeRepr should always be a TupleTypeRepr into the AST a number of nice cleanups fall out:
- The SIL Parser no longer accepts Swift 2-style type declarations
- Parse is more cleanly able to reject invalid FunctionTypeReprs
- Clients of the AST can be assured the input type is always a TupleType so we can flush Swift 2 hacks
This adds the dllstorage annotations on the tests. This first pass gets
most of the IRGen tests passing on Windows (though has dependencies on
other changes). However, this allows for the changes to be merged more
easily as we cannot regress other platforms here.
When lowering the arguments for the FFI call on certain targets, LLVM
expects that the parameter be passed as a structure rather than the
extracted values. Enhance the argument lowering for the call and the
function construction to ensure that the type can be flattened according
to the ABI for the target before attempting to explode it for the SIL
IRGen lowering. This allows building for targets such as Linux ARM HF
and Linux ARM SF target with the HF floating point ABI.

This reverts commit 25985cb764. For now,
we're trying to avoid spurious non-structural changes to the mangling,
so that the /old/ mangling doesn't appear to change. That doesn't mean
no changes at all, but we can save this one for later.
Use the generic type lowering algorithm described in
"docs/CallingConvention.rst#physical-lowering" to map from IRGen's explosion
type to the type expected by the ABI.
Change IRGen to use the swift calling convention (swiftcc) for native swift
functions.
Use the 'swiftself' attribute on self parameters and for closures contexts.
Use the 'swifterror' parameter for swift error parameters.
Change functions in the runtime that are called as native swift functions to use
the swift calling convention.

This allows us to freely pass the address of a variable of such
types to a C function without worrying about it overwriting other
things if e.g. it memcpy's sizeof(T) bytes and thus clobbers the
otherwise-non-existent tail padding.
There are ways to get this optimization back, but they require
things like materializing to a temporary instead of passing the
address directly. We haven't done that work yet, so we don't
get to take advantage of it.

This prevents the linker from trying to emit relative relocations to locally-defined public symbols into dynamic libraries, which gives ld.so heartache.
'Ss' appears in manglings tens of thousands of times in the standard library and is also incredibly frequent in other modules. This alone is enough to shrink the standard library by 59KB.

This brings the David Owens benchmark from http://owensd.io/2015/06/27/performance-xcode7-beta-2.html from parity with simd.h-based C to 3x faster.
Before:
RenderGradient ([UInt32].withUnsafeMutablePointer (SIMD)) │ 7.035851 │ 6.304739 │ 9.815832 │ 1.212 │

This also addresses rdar://problem/21574425, since Builtin.add_VecNxIntM isn't overflow-checked, and overflow checks really aren't wanted when working with vector types directly.
Reapplying now that Nadav's fixed the ARM64 SelectionDAG issue this exposed before, and Arnold's fixed
yet another SelectionDAG issue exposed after that.

@inout parameters can be nocapture and dereferenceable. @in, @in_guaranteed, and indirected @direct parameters can be noalias, nocapture, and dereferenceable.
Swift SVN r29353
Insert a block's context argument into the normal parameter set before lowering external arguments, instead of adding it later in a post-pass, so that we assign argument attributes to the correct indices. Fix signature expansion to put the block context parameter in the right place relative to struct returns. Fixes rdar://problem/20035272.
Swift SVN r25763
Upstream clang got better about preserving the type of lowered vector parameters, so float_vec3 lowers to a <3 x float> parameter rather than a generic <2 x double>. We still represent the opaque blob as an aligned i128, since we don't understand padding in imported structs, so we need to generalize coerceValue to deal with size mismatches in both directions. Fixes rdar://problem/20011424.
Swift SVN r25701
Clean up the messy code for putting byval arguments at the right argument index; we don't pretend to handle multiple uncurry levels in IRGen anymore, so we can just use the absolute index of lowered arguments for attribute indices. Add zeroext/signext attributes as needed for small integer arguments in calls. Fixes rdar://problem/19455987.

The field type generator may end up producing recursive static references to metadata while we're generating metadata. Fixes rdar://problem/19838839.
Swift SVN r25534
If the alloc size of a single iNNN field doesn't match the requested size, then it will use the wrong amount of space inside an LLVM struct. Solve this by using [N x i8] as the storage type for opaque storage, but loading and storing as a single iNNN field.
Swift SVN r24571
Most tests were using %swift or similar substitutions, which did not
include the target triple and SDK. The driver was defaulting to the
host OS. Thus, we could not run the tests when the standard library was
not built for OS X.
Swift SVN r24504
Doing so is safe even though we have mock SDK. The include paths for
modules with the same name in the real and mock SDKs are different, and
the module files will be distinct (because they will have a different
hash).
This reduces test runtime on OS X by 30% and brings it under a minute on
a 16-core machine.
This also uncovered some problems with some tests -- even when run for
iOS configurations, some tests would still run with macosx triple. I
fixed the tests where I noticed this issue.
