* Fix unnecessary one-time recompile of stdlib with -enable-ossa-flag
This includes a bit in the module format to represent if the module was
compiled with -enable-ossa-modules flag. When compiling a client module
with -enable-ossa-modules flag, all dependent modules are checked for this bit,
if not on, recompilation is triggered with -enable-ossa-modules.
* Updated tests
This furthere reduces the size of ParsedRawSyntaxNode, as well as for intermediate data structures using in SyntaxParseActions, improving syntax parsing performance.
Take advantage of the binary swiftdeps serialization utliities built during #32131. Add a new optional information block to swiftdeps files. For now, don't actually serialize swiftdeps information.
Frontends will use this information to determine whether to write incremental dependencies across modules into their swiftdeps files. We will then teach the driver to deserialize the data from this section and integrate it into its incremental decision making.
With an inverted pipeline, IRGen needs to be able
to compute the linker directives itself, so sink
it down such that it can be computed by the
`IRGenDescriptor`.
And also rename the underlying request and
descriptor.
This rename is motivated by the fact that the
operation may instead perform parsing of SIL files
and/or deserialization of SIB files.
This diagnostic logic is currently called from
`finishTypeChecking`, however it doesn't need to
be delayed until after all the source files have
been type-checked, only after they have all had
their imports resolved.
It can therefore be lifted into a request that
operates on a ModuleDecl, and be called from
TypeCheckSourceFileRequest. Being a request will
ensure that the pass is only run once across the
module.
Eventually we'll probably want to re-do import
resolution so that it operates on an entire
module. At that point, we'll want to look at
integrating this diagnostic logic into it.
There's no need to walk all imports of all source files, and bind the
extensions defined therein. The only time that a non-main module
contains source files is when using -enable-source-import, and we
can just explicitly call bindExtensions() in the right place.
Add a private scratch context to the ASTContext and allow IntrinsicInfo sole access to it so it can allocate attributes into it. This removes the final dependency on the global context.
swift::GeneratedModule encapsulates an llvm::Module, llvm::LLVMContext
pair that must live and die together. It has convenient accessors for
projecting the module and context components. The meat of this type is
the two conversion functions, which transfer ownership of either the
module component to the caller or the module and context to ORCJIT.
This is because ORC enforces an ownership contract that is distinct from
LLVM's rather wild ownership story for modules and their associated
contexts. See http://llvm.org/docs/ORCv2.html#how-to-use-threadsafemodule-and-threadsafecontext
Replace it with the "legacy semantic queries" bit. The remaining client
of this bit is SourceKit, which appears to require this bit be set
conditionally so certain semantic property wrapper requests return
a sentinel value.
We should migrate these requests to a syntactic interface as soon as
possible.

Remove the `EvaluateConditionals` flags from the
parser, and instead query the source file.
This commit also changes ParserUnit such that it
doesn't evaluate #if conditions by default, as
none of its clients appear to require it. The
only client that wasn't explicitly disabling #if
evaluation and is processing the resulting AST is
swift-indent, so this commit also adds a test to
ensure it continues to work correctly with #if
decls.
Move the global PersistentParserState from
the CompilerInstance to the source file that code
completion is operating on, only hooking up the
state when it's needed. This will help make it
easier to requestify source file parsing.
The only non-trivial bit is making the DiagnosticEngine parameter to swift::performLLVM required. No callers were taking advantage of this parameter allowing NULL.
Add ExecuteSILPipelineRequest which executes a
pipeline plan on a given SIL (and possibly IRGen)
module. This serves as a top-level request for
the SILOptimizer that we'll be able to hang
dependencies off.
Rather than registering individual IRGen passes
when we want to execute them, store function
pointers to all the pass constructors on the
ASTContext. This will make it easier to requestify
the execution of pass pipelines.
Instead of interleaving typechecking and parsing
for SIL files, first parse the file for Swift
decls by skipping over any intermixed SIL decls.
Then we can perform type checking, and finally SIL
parsing where we now skip over Swift decls.
This is an intermediate step to requestifying the
parsing of a source file for its Swift decls.
This was being done at an odd point in the frontend presumably because by that point the private discriminator had been fully computed. Instead, push the conditions for generating the prefix data down to debug info generation and stop mutating IRGenOptions::DebugFlag in the frontend.
