564b4fc11a [silgenpattern] Fix some stack-use-after-free errors caused by iterating over an Optional<ArrayRef<T>>.
Specifically the bad pattern was:

```
   for (auto *vd : *caseStmt->getCaseBodyVariables()) { ... }
```

The problem is that the optional is not lifetime extended over the for loop. To
work around this, I changed the API of CaseStmt's getCaseBodyVariable methods to
never return the inner Optional<MutableArrayRef<T>>. Now we have the following 3
methods (ignoring const differences):

1. CaseStmt::hasCaseBodyVariables().

2. CaseStmt::getCaseBodyVariables(). Asserts if the case body variable array was
   never specified.

3. CaseStmt::getCaseBodyVariablesOrEmptyArray(). Returns either the case body
variables array or an empty array if we were never given any case body
   variable array.

This should prevent anyone else in the future from hitting this type of bug.

b50d878f5d [parse/sema] Give all case bodies their own var decls without using those var decls for anything.
This is a step in the direction of fixing the fallthrough bug. Specifically, in
this commit I give case stmts a set of var decls for the bodies of the case
statement. I have not wired them up to anything except the var decl
list/typechecking.

ff63eaea6f Remove \brief commands from doxygen comments.
We've been running doxygen with the autobrief option for a couple of
years now. This makes the \brief markers into our comments
redundant. Since they are a visual distraction and we don't want to
encourage more \brief markers in new code either, this patch removes
them all.

Patch produced by

bf18697b4f parsing, typechecking, and SILGen for #assert
`#assert` is a new static assertion statement that will let us write
tests for the new constant evaluation infrastructure that we are working
on. `#assert` works by lowering to a `Builtin.poundAssert` SIL
instruction. The constant evaluation infrastructure will look for these
SIL instructions, const-evaluate their conditions, and emit errors if
the conditions are non-constant or false.

This commit implements parsing, typechecking and SILGen for `#assert`.

b61df445ae Cleans up calls to print/dump for the AST Dumper
The `Stmt` and `Expr` classes had both `dump` and `print` methods that behaved similarly, making it unclear what each method was for. Following a conversation in https://forums.swift.org/t/unifying-printing-logic-in-astdumper/15995/6 the `dump` methods will be used to print the S-Expression-like ASTs, and the `print` methods will be used to print the more textual ASTPrinter-based representations. The `Stmt` and `Expr` classes seem to be where this distinction was more ambiguous. These changes should fix that ambiguity.

A few other classes also have `print` methods used to print straightforward representations that are neither the S-Expressions nor ASTPrinters. These were left as they are, as they don't cause the same ambiguity.

It should be noted that the ASTPrinter implementations themselves haven't yet been finished and aren't a part of these changes.

b80618fc80 Replace materializeForSet with the modify coroutine.
Most of this patch is just removing special cases for materializeForSet
or other fairly mechanical replacements. Unfortunately, the rest is
still a fairly big change, and not one that can be easily split apart
because of the quite reasonable reliance on metaprogramming throughout
the compiler. And, of course, there are a bunch of test updates that
have to be sync'ed with the actual change to code-generation.

This is SR-7134.

7a4aeed570 Implement generalized accessors using yield-once coroutines.
For now, the accessors have been underscored as `_read` and `_modify`.
I'll prepare an evolution proposal for this feature which should allow
us to remove the underscores or, y'know, rename them to `purple` and
`lettuce`.

`_read` accessors do not make any effort yet to avoid copying the
value being yielded. I'll work on it in follow-up patches.

Opaque accesses to properties and subscripts defined with `_modify`
accessors will use an inefficient `materializeForSet` pattern that
materializes the value to a temporary instead of accessing it in-place.
That will be fixed by migrating to `modify` over `materializeForSet`,
which is next up after the `read` optimizations.

SIL ownership verification doesn't pass yet for the test cases here
because of a general fault in SILGen where borrows can outlive their
borrowed value due to being cleaned up on the general cleanup stack
when the borrowed value is cleaned up on the formal-access stack.
Michael, Andy, and I discussed various ways to fix this, but it seems
clear to me that it's not in any way specific to coroutine accesses.

701975ad1d Add parsing support for @unknown (SE-0192)
This is our first statement attribute, made more complicated by the
fact that a 'case'/'default' isn't really a normal statement. I've
chosen /not/ to implement a general statement attribute logic like we
have for types and decls at this time, but I did get the compiler
parsing arbitrary attributes before 'case' and 'default'. As a bonus,
we now treat all cases within functions as being switch-like rather
than enum-like, which is better for recovery when not in a switch.

da238539f5 [Basic] NFC: Inline bitfield cleanup
1) Remove SWIFT_INLINE_BITS boilerplate. Now that we're not using anonymous/transparent unions, we don't need the
SWIFT_BITFIELD_BITS macro.
2) Refine the the bitfield size check to better support templated bitfields.
3) Refine the SIL templated bitfields to not be prematurely "full".

a060eb5aca [SE-0075] Transfer the power of config resolution to Namebinding
This completely removes Parse’s ability to make any judgement calls
about compilation conditions, instead the parser-relevant parts of
‘evaluateConditionalCompilationExpr’ have been moved into
‘classifyConditionalCompilationExpr’ where they exist to make sure only
decls that we want to parse actually parse later.

The condition-evaluation parts have been moved into NameBinding in the
form of a Walker that evaluates and collapses IfConfigs. This walker
is meant as an homage to PlaygroundLogger. It should probably be
factored out into a common walker at some point in the future.

30b67344b2 Improve var decl completion in switch cases
Variables bound in the case item pattern should be available inside the
case body and in the where clause, but not elsewhere within the
statement (e.g. other case items). The added accessor
CaseStmt.getLabelItemsRange() is needed to be able to determine the
difference between a completion location after a colon and one where
the colon doesn’t exist (in both cases this would be in the — implicit
— body statement range).

d9d49f72a3 Adopt llvm::TrailingObjects as much as possible in AST.
This class formalizes the common case of the "trailing allocation" idiom we use
frequently. I didn't spot any true bugs while making this change, but I did see
places where we were using the wrong pointer type or casting through void* for
no good reason. This will keep us honest.

I'll get to the other libraries soon.

91b72d3802 Fold the rest of PointerLikeTypeTraitsFwdDecl.h into TypeAlignments.h.
TypeAlignments.h predates this whole mess; it was used for types with
stronger alignment in PointerLikeTypeTraits than the old default of
"2 by fiat and assumption". All remaining forward-declared types are
AST types, so fold them into TypeAlignments.h.

(The one exception is SILTypeList.h, but that's already gone on master.)

To avoid future ODR issues, explicitly include TypeAlignments.h into
every header that defines a type it forward-declares.

I wish we could use partial specialization to provide PointerLikeTypeTraits
for all derived classes of Decl, TypeBase, etc, but that's not something
you can do in C++ if you don't control the traits class.
