2f9ac3444e Disable typealiases in protocols and add frontend flag to re-enable.
Goes back to Swift 2.2 behavior of treating the 'typealias' keyword inside a protocol as a deprecated form of an associatedtype. To get the newer (but still partly buggy) behavior of treating it as an actual typealias, add "-Xfrontend -enable-protocol-typealiases" to the compile invocation. 'decl/typealias/typealias.swift' now uses this flag to continue testing the enabled behavior.

af0c7bd620 Initial implementation of SE-0054 "Abolish IUO Type" (#2322)
This is a squash of the following commits:

* [SE-0054] Import function pointer arg, return types, typedefs as optional

IUOs are only allowed on function decl arguments and return types, so
don't import typedefs or function pointer args or return types as IUO.

* [SE-0054] Only allow IUOs in function arg and result type.

When validating a TypeRepr, raise a diagnostic if an IUO is found
anywhere other thn the top level or as a function parameter or return
tpye.

* [SE-0054] Disable inference of IUOs by default

When considering a constraint of the form '$T1 is convertible to T!',
generate potential bindings 'T' and 'T?' for $T1, but not 'T!'. This
prevents variables without explicit type information from ending up with
IUO type. It also prevents implicit instantiation of functions and types
with IUO type arguments.

* [SE-0054] Remove the -disable-infer-iuos flag.

* Add nonnull annotations to ObjectiveCTests.h in benchmark suite.

7c502b6344 Port to Android
This adds an Android target for the stdlib. It is also the first
example of cross-compiling outside of Darwin.

2. https://lists.swift.org/pipermail/swift-dev/Week-of-Mon-20151214/000492.html

The Android variant of Swift may be built using the following `build-script`
invocation:

```
$ utils/build-script \
  -R \                                           # Build in ReleaseAssert mode.
  --android \                                    # Build for Android.
  --android-ndk ~/android-ndk-r10e \             # Path to an Android NDK.
  --android-ndk-version 21 \
  --android-icu-uc ~/libicu-android/armeabi-v7a/libicuuc.so \
  --android-icu-uc-include ~/libicu-android/armeabi-v7a/icu/source/common \
  --android-icu-i18n ~/libicu-android/armeabi-v7a/libicui18n.so \
  --android-icu-i18n-include ~/libicu-android/armeabi-v7a/icu/source/i18n/
```

Android builds have the following dependencies, as can be seen in
the build script invocation:

1. An Android NDK of version 21 or greater, available to download
   here: http://developer.android.com/ndk/downloads/index.html.
2. A libicu compatible with android-armv7.

6272941c5c Rename "build configurations" to "conditional compilation blocks".
...because "build configuration" is already the name of an Xcode feature.

- '#if' et al are "conditional compilation directives".
- The condition is a "conditional compilation expression", or just
  "condition" if it's obvious.
- The predicates are "platform conditions" (including 'swift(>=...)')
- The options set with -D are "custom conditional compilation flags".
  (Thanks, Kevin!)

I left "IfConfigDecl" as is, as well as SourceKit's various "BuildConfig"
settings because some of them are part of the SourceKit request format.
We can change these in follow-up commits, or not.

81267ce1db AST: Serialize -enable-resilience flag on the ModuleDecl
Since resilience is a property of the module being compiled,
not decls being accessed, we need to record which types are
resilient as part of the module.

Previously we would only ever look at the @_fixed_layout
attribute on a type. If the flag was not specified, Sema
would slap this attribute on every type that gets validated.

This is wasteful for non-resilient builds, because there
all types get the attribute. It was also apparently wrong,
and I don't fully understand when Sema decides to validate
which decls.

It is much cleaner conceptually to just serialize this flag
with the module, and check for its presence if the
attribute was not found on a type.

57dd686742 Strawman @fixed_layout attribute and -{enable,disable}-resilience flags
A fixed layout type is one about which the compiler is allowed to
make certain assumptions across resilience domains. The assumptions
will be documented elsewhere, but for the purposes of this patch
series, they will include:

- the size of the type
- offsets of stored properties
- whether accessed properties are stored or computed

When -enable-resilience is passed to the frontend, all types become
resilient unless annotated with the @fixed_layout attribute.

So far, the @fixed_layout attribute only comes into play in SIL type
lowering of structs and enums, which now become address-only unless
they are @fixed_layout. For now, @fixed_layout is also allowed on
classes, but has no effect. In the future, support for less resilient
type lowering within a single resilience domain will be added, with
appropriate loads and stores in function prologs and epilogs.

Resilience is not enabled by default, which gives all types fixed
layout and matches the behavior of the compiler today. Since
we do not want the -enable-resilience flag to change the behavior
of existing compiled modules, only the currently-compiling module,
Sema adds the @fixed_layout flag to all declarations when the flag
is off. To reduce the size of .swiftmodule files, this could become
a flag on the module itself in the future.

The reasoning behind this is that the usual case is building
applications and private frameworks, where there is no need to make
anything resilient.

For the standard library, we can start out with resilience disabled,
while perfoming an audit adding @fixed_layout annotations in the
right places. Once the implementation is robust enough we can then
build the standard library with resilience enabled.

2368ce774b Remove self types from mangling by default.
And include some supplementary mangling changes:

- Give the first generic param (depth=0, index=0) a single character mangling. Even after removing the self type from method declaration types, 'Self' still shows up very frequently in protocol requirement signatures.
- Fix the mangling of generic parameter counts to elide the count when there's only one parameter at the starting depth of the mangling.

Together these carve another 154KB out of a debug standard library. There's some awkwardness in demangled strings that I'll clean up in subsequent commits; since decl types now only mangle the number of generic params at their own depth, it's context-dependent what depths those represent, which we get wrong now. Currying markers are also wrong, but since free function currying is going away, we can mangle the partial application thunks in different ways.
