42bc49d3fe Add a new parameter convention @in_cxx for non-trivial C++ classes that are passed indirectly and destructed by the caller (#73019)
This corresponds to the parameter-passing convention of the Itanium C++
ABI, in which the argument is passed indirectly and possibly modified,
but not destroyed, by the callee.

@in_cxx is handled the same way as @in in callers and @in_guaranteed in
callees. OwnershipModelEliminator emits the call to destroy_addr that is
needed to destroy the argument in the caller.

d92f181ace Create two versions (for caller and callee) of the functions that answer questions about parameter convention (#74124)
Create two versions of the following functions:

isConsumedParameter
isGuaranteedParameter
SILParameterInfo::isConsumed
SILParameterInfo::isGuaranteed
SILArgumentConvention::isOwnedConvention
SILArgumentConvention::isGuaranteedConvention

These changes will be needed when we add a new convention for
non-trivial C++ types as the functions will return different answers
depending on whether they are called for the caller or the callee. This
commit doesn't change any functionality.

1d961ba22d Add #include "swift/Basic/Assertions.h" to a lot of source files
Although I don't plan to bring over new assertions wholesale
into the current qualification branch, it's entirely possible
that various minor changes in main will use the new assertions;
having this basic support in the release branch will simplify that.
(This is why I'm adding the includes as a separate pass from
rewriting the individual assertions)

06921cfe84 [SIL] Hollow out Builtin.copy, deprecate _copy.
The copy operator has been implemented and doesn't use it. Remove
`Builtin.copy` and `_copy` as much as currently possible.

Source compatibility requires that `_copy` remain in the stdlib. It is
deprecated here and just uses the copy operator.

Handling old swiftinterfaces requires that `Builtin.copy` be defined.
Redefine it here as a passthrough--SILGen machinery will produce the
necessary copy_addr.

11f0ff6e32 [sil] Ensure that all SILValues have a parent function by making it so that SILUndef is uniqued at the function instead of module level.
For years, optimizer engineers have been hitting a common bug caused by passes
assuming all SILValues have a parent function only to be surprised by SILUndef.
Generally we see SILUndef not that often so we see this come up later in
testing. This patch eliminates that problem by making SILUndef uniqued at the
function level instead of the module level. This ensures that it makes sense for
SILUndef to have a parent function, eliminating this possibility since we can
define an API to get its parent function.

aa5b505014 Allow normal function results of @yield_once coroutines (#69843)
This adds SIL-level support and LLVM codegen for normal results of a coroutine.

The main user of this will be autodiff as VJP of a coroutine must be a coroutine itself (in order to produce the yielded result) and return a pullback closure as a normal result.

For now only direct results are supported, but this seems to be enough for autodiff purposes.

6a65c7829e [sil] Add tuple_addr_constructor an instruction that can be used to initial a tuple in memory from individual address and object components.
This commit just introduces the instruction. In a subsequent commit, I am going
to add support to SILGen to emit this. This ensures that when we assign into a
tuple var we initialize it with one instruction instead of doing it in pieces.
The problem with doing it in pieces is that when one is emitting diagnostics it
looks semantically like SILGen actually is emitting code for initializing in
pieces which could be an error.

f3ff561c6f [NFC] add llvm namespace to Optional and None
This is phase-1 of switching from llvm::Optional to std::optional in the
next rebranch. llvm::Optional was removed from upstream LLVM, so we need
to migrate off rather soon. On Darwin, std::optional, and llvm::Optional
have the same layout, so we don't need to be as concerned about ABI
beyond the name mangling. `llvm::Optional` is only returned from one
function in
```
getStandardTypeSubst(StringRef TypeName,
                     bool allowConcurrencyManglings);
```
It's the return value, so it should not impact the mangling of the
function, and the layout is the same as `std::optional`, so it should be
mostly okay. This function doesn't appear to have users, and the ABI was
already broken 2 years ago for concurrency and no one seemed to notice
so this should be "okay".

I'm doing the migration incrementally so that folks working on main can
cherry-pick back to the release/5.9 branch. Once 5.9 is done and locked
away, then we can go through and finish the replacement. Since `None`
and `Optional` show up in contexts where they are not `llvm::None` and
`llvm::Optional`, I'm preparing the work now by going through and
removing the namespace unwrapping and making the `llvm` namespace
explicit. This should make it fairly mechanical to go through and
replace llvm::Optional with std::optional, and llvm::None with
std::nullopt. It's also a change that can be brought onto the
release/5.9 with minimal impact. This should be an NFC change.

ac66a06199 [SIL] Add a new AssignOrInit instruction for init accessors.
This instruction is similar to AssignByWrapperInst, but instead of having
a destination operand, the initialization is fully factored into the init
function operand. Like AssignByWrapper, AssignOrInit has partial application
operands of both the initializer and the setter, and DI will lower the
instruction to a call based on whether the assignment is initialization or
a setter call.

158772c2ab Rebase SILScope generation on top of ASTScope.
This patch replaces the stateful generation of SILScope information in
SILGenFunction with data derived from the ASTScope hierarchy, which should be
100% in sync with the scopes needed for local variables. The goal is to
eliminate the surprising effects that the stack of cleanup operations can have
on the current state of SILBuilder leading to a fully deterministic (in the
sense of: predictible by a human) association of SILDebugScopes with
SILInstructions. The patch also eliminates the need to many workarounds. There
are still some accomodations for several Sema transformation passes such as
ResultBuilders, which don't correctly update the source locations when moving
around nodes. If these were implemented as macros, this problem would disappear.

This necessary rewrite of the macro scope handling included in this patch also
adds proper support nested macro expansions.

69d1abe0c5 [SIL] Protect owned arg lifetimes at inlining.
Previously, `begin_borrow [lexical]` were created during SILGen for
@owned arguments. Such borrows could be deleted if trivially dead,
which was the original reason why @owned arguments were considered
lexical and could not have their destroys hoisted.

Those borrows were however important during inlining because they would
maintain the lifetime of the owned argument. Unless of course the
borrow scope was trivially dead. In which case the owned argument's
lifetime would not be maintained. And if the caller's value was
non-lexical, destroys of the value could be hoisted over deinit
barriers.

Here, during inlining, `move_value [lexical]`s are introduced during
inlining whever the caller's value is non-lexical. This maintains the
lifetime of the owned argument even after inlining.
