We should (and do) have one new name for the entire rename operation, not a separate new name for different positions at which the renamed symbol occurs.
Add a new async download API from CASID. This helps build system better
schedule the job/remove duplicated downloads, than using an opaque
cached_output handle.
ASTGen always builds with the host Swift compiler, without requiring
bootstrapping, and is enabled in more places. Move the regex literal
parsing logic there so it is enabled in more host environments, and
makes use of CMake's Swift support. Enable all of the regex literal
tests when ASTGen is built, to ensure everything is working.
Remove the "AST" and "Parse" Swift modules from SwiftCompilerSources,
because they are no longer needed.
If a C++ type `Derived` inherits from `Base` privately, the public methods from `Base` should not be callable on an instance of `Derived`. However, C++ supports exposing such methods via a using declaration: `using MyPrivateBase::myPublicMethod;`.
MSVC started using this feature for `std::optional` which means Swift doesn't correctly import `var pointee: Pointee` for instantiations of `std::optional` on Windows. This prevents the automatic conformance to `CxxOptional` from being synthesized.

If the `SWIFTCI_USE_LOCAL_DEPS` environment variable is set, we're building in the Swift.org CI system alongside other projects in the Swift toolchain and we can depend on local versions of our dependencies instead of fetching them remotely.
Add new APIs libSwiftScan that can be used for cache query and cache
replay. This enables swift-driver or build system to query the cache and
replay the compilation results without invocation swift-frontend for
better scheduling.
This allows an ARM64 swift-inspect to correctly read from an ARM64e target process. We compute a ptrauth mask by stripping all bits above MACH_VM_MAX_ADDRESS. This strips more than we strictly need, but it works.
We need this request for semantic highlighting in LSP. Previously, we were getting the semantic tokens using a 0,0 edit after a document update notification but that will no longer be possible if we open the documents in syntactic only mode.
Conflicts:
- `lib/AST/TypeCheckRequests.cpp` renamed `isMoveOnly` which requires
a static_cast on rebranch because `Optional` is now a `std::optional`.
The code, previously, only properly handled such dependencies being a distinct category for Swift source and Swift textual dependency infos. Swift binary module dependencies must handle this similarly and this change adds the missing support for them. Recent refactor of the scanner also means that now Swift binary dependencies with Swift overlay dependencies may crash the scanner, and this change resolves this as well.

Update swift cache key computation mechanism from one cache key per
output, to one cache key per primary input file (for all outputs that
associated with that input).
The new schema allows fewer cache lookups while still preserving most of
the flexibility for batch mode and incremental mode.
Instead of emitting an warning to the diagnostic engine, return the
plugin loading error as the result of the request. So that the user
can decide to emit it as a warning or an error.
