b129d7ec60 [Macros] Teach name lookup in macro expansions to look in expansion context
Teach ASTScope how to reason about macro expansions. When we create an
ASTScope for a source file that represents a macro expansion, its
parent scope node is the macro expansion itself. When performing
unqualified lookup (of any form), find the starting source file based
on the location, not on the source file provided---this ensures that
we start lookups within the macro expansion (for example).

The effect of this is to enable macro expansions to work in nested
contexts, where they refer to names in the scope in which the macro is
expanded.

This is decidedly unhiegenic, but it fits with our syntactic model.

dab3b64c99 [ConstraintSystem] Implement basic type checking for pack expressions.
During prechecking, postfix '...' expressions are rewritten to pack
expansion expressions if the operand contains pack references. References
to packs are replaced with opaque values, and the pack expansion stores
the opaque value bindings to decl refs.

4716f61fba [AST] Introduce explicit actions for ASTWalker
Replace the use of bool and pointer returns for
`walkToXXXPre`/`walkToXXXPost`, and instead use
explicit actions such as `Action::Continue(E)`,
`Action::SkipChildren(E)`, and `Action::Stop()`.
There are also conditional variants, e.g
`Action::SkipChildrenIf`, `Action::VisitChildrenIf`,
and `Action::StopIf`.

There is still more work that can be done here, in
particular:

- SourceEntityWalker still needs to be migrated.
- Some uses of `return false` in pre-visitation
methods can likely now be replaced by
`Action::Stop`.
- We still use bool and pointer returns internally
within the ASTWalker traversal, which could likely
be improved.

But I'm leaving those as future work for now as
this patch is already large enough.

f5f1d3c028 AST: Parse #_hasSymbol
Introduce the compiler directive `#_hasSymbol` which will be used to detect whether weakly linked symbols are present at runtime. It is intended for use in combination with `@_weakLinked import` or `-weak-link-at-target`.

```
if #_hasSymbol(foo(_:)) {
  foo(42)
}
```

Parsing only; SILGen is coming in a later commit.

6c24bc57cb [AST][SILGen] model ABI-safe casts of LValues
We needed a way to describe an ABI-safe cast of an address
representing an LValue to implement `@preconcurrency` and
its injection of casts during accesses of members.

This new AST node, `ABISafeConversionExpr` models what is
essentially an `unchecked_addr_cast` in SIL when accessing
the LVAlue.

As of now I simply implemented it and the verification of
the node for the concurrency needs to ensure that it's not
misused by accident. If it finds use outside of that,
feel free to update the verifier.

89629fe06f Generalize BodyKind::MemberwiseInitializer
We'd like to support factor initializers
for distributed actor types that are
synthesized by SILGen.

We already do something similar for
memberwise initializers for structs.
Thus, this patch generalizes that
concept into a new BodyKind for
AbstractFunctionDecls called
BodyKind::SILSynthesize.

In addition, to help differentiate the
kinds of AFDs that are SILSynthesized
into different families for SILGen to
recognize, we also have a new enum
SILSynthesizeKind to indicate whether it
is a memberwise init, etc.

5004a5447b [Concurrency] Make "self" parameter of actor-isolated functions 'isolated'.
The notion of "actor-isolated" currently exists at the declaration level.
For functions, it is going to be captured in the function type itself,
where 'self' is declared to be 'isolated'. Model isolation both
ways: the 'self' of a method that is isolated to an actor instance
will be 'isolated' as well.

We are still using declaration-based checking of actor isolation.
However, by mirroring this information we can move more incrementally
over to doing checking based on 'isolated' parameters.

1de2d3f7c0 [ast] Enable the ASTVerifier behind the enable-ast-verifier flag in no-asserts builds.
This follows the design of how we handled this with
sil-verify-all. Specifically, the default behavior is to run only in asserts
builds, but one can use the two flags: enable-ast-verifier and
disable-ast-verifier to override the default behavior.

The reason why this is interesting is that this means that when compiling
normally, we will not run the verifier, so we won't have a perf hit. But we can
now ask the user to run with this flag (or in a future maybe a re-run in the
driver would do this for them), saving us time when screening bugs by avoiding
the need to build an asserts compiler to triage if the ASTVerifier would catch
the bug.

de2dbe57ed [AutoDiff] Bump-pointer allocate pullback structs in loops. (#34886)
In derivatives of loops, no longer allocate boxes for indirect case payloads. Instead, use a custom pullback context in the runtime which contains a bump-pointer allocator.

When a function contains a differentiated loop, the closure context is a `Builtin.NativeObject`, which contains a `swift::AutoDiffLinearMapContext` and a tail-allocated top-level linear map struct (which represents the linear map struct that was previously directly partial-applied into the pullback). In branching trace enums, the payloads of previously indirect cases will be allocated by `swift::AutoDiffLinearMapContext::allocate` and stored as a `Builtin.RawPointer`.

1a860cc99e Sema: Simplify adjustSelfTypeForMember() a little bit to avoid a cycle
We used to wrap the base expression in an InOutExpr when accessing a
computed property. This was a vestigial remnant of differences in the
SILGen code paths for stored vs computed property access.

These days SILGen doesn't care and is perfectly happy to call getters
and setters with an LValueType base as well.

This allows us to remove the call to getAccessSemantics(), which for
a 'didSet', had to kick off type checking of the body.

Fixes <rdar://problem/69532933>.
