43ddc2a643 AllocBoxToStack: Improve alloc_stack/dealloc_stack scoping
Instead of inserting all alloc_stack/dealloc_stack instructions at the begin/end of the function, insert them at the actual lifetime boundaries.

39fa2f0228 Use the swift calling convention for swift functions
Use the generic type lowering algorithm described in
"docs/CallingConvention.rst#physical-lowering" to map from IRGen's explosion
type to the type expected by the ABI.

Change IRGen to use the swift calling convention (swiftcc) for native swift
functions.

Use the 'swiftself' attribute on self parameters and for closures contexts.

Use the 'swifterror' parameter for swift error parameters.

Change functions in the runtime that are called as native swift functions to use
the swift calling convention.

d28b8ead50 Add resilient_stdlib to available_features and XFAIL remaining failing tests
All unoptimized tests should now pass when Swift is built with
'build-script -- --swift-stdlib-enable-resilience=1'.

There are still some issues when the tests themselves are built
with optimizations via 'check-swift-validation-optimize'.

Fixes <rdar://problem/28409189>.

266a5f90bd stdlib: Use builtin tail-allocated arrays instead of ManagedBuffer to allocate contiguous array buffers.
This reduces the amount of SIL generated for array operations significantly.
The generated code should be mostly the same (modulo different inlining decisions).

2368ce774b Remove self types from mangling by default.
And include some supplementary mangling changes:

- Give the first generic param (depth=0, index=0) a single character mangling. Even after removing the self type from method declaration types, 'Self' still shows up very frequently in protocol requirement signatures.
- Fix the mangling of generic parameter counts to elide the count when there's only one parameter at the starting depth of the mangling.

Together these carve another 154KB out of a debug standard library. There's some awkwardness in demangled strings that I'll clean up in subsequent commits; since decl types now only mangle the number of generic params at their own depth, it's context-dependent what depths those represent, which we get wrong now. Currying markers are also wrong, but since free function currying is going away, we can mangle the partial application thunks in different ways.

3b04d1b013 tests: reorganize tests so that they actually use the target platform
Most tests were using %swift or similar substitutions, which did not
include the target triple and SDK. The driver was defaulting to the
host OS. Thus, we could not run the tests when the standard library was
not built for OS X.

8c916c31f4 Fix <rdar://problem/19275047> Extraneous retains/releases of self are bad
This teaches SILGenLValue that base expressions referring to self can always
be done at +0, avoiding retain/release traffic. This eliminates some hacks
where init() needed special code, and also reduces r/r traffic in general.

Before the example in the radar silgen'd to:

sil hidden @_TFC1x4Base3foofS0_FT_T_ : $@cc(method) @thin (@owned Base) -> () {
bb0(%0 : $Base):
  debug_value %0 : $Base  // let self             // id: %1
  strong_retain %0 : $Base                        // id: %2
  // function_ref x.Base.__allocating_init (x.Base.Type)() -> x.Base
  %3 = function_ref @_TFC1x4BaseCfMS0_FT_S0_ : $@thin (@thick Base.Type) -> @owned Base // user: %5
  %4 = metatype $@thick Base.Type                 // user: %5
  %5 = apply %3(%4) : $@thin (@thick Base.Type) -> @owned Base // user: %7
  %6 = ref_element_addr %0 : $Base, #Base.f       // user: %7
  assign %5 to %6 : $*Base                        // id: %7
  strong_release %0 : $Base                       // id: %8
  strong_release %0 : $Base                       // id: %9
  %10 = tuple ()                                  // user: %11
  return %10 : $()                                // id: %11
}

now the %2 and %8 instructions are gone.

d9c750eefd [stdlib] Remove ArrayBuffer indirection
The case where Array stores class instances no longer requires an
intermediate indirect buffer object.

Also fixes <rdar://problem/17348939>

These are the speed changes < 0.95x and > 1.05x, as I measured them.
Although I don't have great confidence in these numbers, some are
consistent with Arnold's measurements, FWIW.

a6a68d49cc SILGen: Avoid using a stdlib function to get optional values.
When we've already established that the optional has a value, using unchecked_take_enum_data_addr to directly extract the enum payload is sufficient and avoids a redundant call and check at -Onone. Keep using the _getOptionalValue stdlib function for checked optional wrapping operations such as "x!", so that the stdlib can remain in control of trap handling policy.

The test/SIL/Serialization failures on the bot seem to be happening sporadically independent of this patch, and I can't reproduce failures in any configuration I've tried.

9eb4f5b512 SILGen: Use Array._allocateUninitialized to form array literals.
This avoids a pointless copy every time an array literal is written, and will let us retire the horrible "alloc_array" instruction and globs of broken IRGen code. Implements rdar://problem/16386862, and probably fixes a bunch of bugs related to alloc_array brokenness.
